Everyone is so helpful and friendly. We were very tired when we got there after our grandchildren’s soccer games that night. It was clean comfy and warm.

What a fantastic long weekend away! The tiny house is wonderfully located near many nice hiking spots and waterfalls. It was super clean, very well stocked and absolutely gorgeous views! We spent most of our time outside on the deck or by the fire pit after hiking all day with the pups. The cabin had everything we needed, and we made full dinners each night! It may be small, but it’s perfect for a couple and two dogs. It is soooo peaceful and the neighbors we did see, were very friendly and cordial. It was the perfect weekend and we can’t thank you enough!

Quiet location, close to the Lake and even a small general store! Feels like home away from home. Beautiful large covered front deck, smaller deck out back, or beautifully designed fire pit to enjoy. Love all the fun lights outside as well!! Cozy inside and out, will definitely return!

From the moment we entered this beautiful cabin, we were truly impressed with its charm. The decor throughout the cabin is cozy, stylish, and comfortable. The cabin also has a unique 3-story floor plan with at least one bedroom and bathroom on each floor. While this layout ensured privacy, the open A Frame design created a shared environment so that we never felt disconnected. The cabin was very clean throughout, and the outdoor setting is well-cared for with lovely forest views. One evening, we saw a herd of deer gracefully walk down the lane in front of the cabin and a little fox peak out behind a row of trees. The game room with a karaoke system, the fire pit, hot tub, and quality appliances all made for a great family holiday! We also were very pleased to find such a great place that is pet-friendly. The communication from Natalie (owner/host) was also very helpful and thoughtful. We definitely would love to stay here again!

What Guests Said About Monticello:

Monticello is a small town but it’s very close to Somerset.

Monticello is a small town but it’s very close to Somerset. Lots to do in Somerset. Monticello is also next to Lake Cumberland, which is fantastic lake! There are lots of restaurants in Monticello where I stayed. Your typical fast food, but like I said if you go into Monticello, there’s plenty of food venues there and lots of shopping. I will definitely come back again, especially to do some boating on Lake Cumberland.

We like this growing town so much that we bought property.

We like this growing town so much that we bought property. The town needs a hotel locally that can accommodate travelers who want to visit the lake. The area is beautiful, the new Conley Bottom area is a terrific attraction for family. Now, we just need a hotel to be proud of; where our family and friends can stay and enjoy. We would love to see more local restaurants and shops too. Awesome area!
