United StatesAn absolutely amazing boutique hotel. My wife and I came for our anniversary and stayed in the Graden Villa. The room was beautifully decorated as was the entire hotel. We enjoyed the outdoor patio, as well as the spacious rooftop deck. The owners were onsite and attentive to every detail. The pride and effort that they put into their establishment is evident everywhere you looked. I highly recommend the Coastal Chateau to anyone looking for a premier experience at the beach.

Ocean City NJ is a quaint coastal town - totally family-friendly. Lots of good restaurants and breakfast places. We loved Cousins restaurant on 1st and Asbury...always a good meal there. It was a Monday night in the summer, so there was a 20-minute free drone show at 6th Street on the boardwalk, and it was beautiful. There is also a large auditorium around 8th St. on the boardwalk, and it features good entertainment. Asbury Avenue has plenty of shopping and food, and on other blocks there is a large post office, a library, and neat things like second-hand book stores. The boardwalk is well-patrolled and curfews are in place to maintain a sense of safety and peacefulness. For those interested in church services, there is Ocean City Tabernacle on Asbury, and a number of other church denominations in fairly close proximity. There is Handlaget Design on Central Avenue that gives lessons and workshops on designing beautiful craft projects for beach and home. Travel is easy, with trolleys, bike rentals and other resources. A beach town with hotels, b&b's, plenty of entertainment for young and old alike, and classic, old-world charm.

Ocean City, NJ is very clean and family friendly. There are lots of different food choices and restaurants. The boardwalk is a great place to spent to the day. The beach is well maintained. It is easy to walk, bike or drive the car from one location to the next. We ate at the Carb Trap which was excellent. Best apple cider donuts can be found at Oves at the end of the Boardwalk. They are a must try!

I was moved by the raising of the flag to Star Spangled Banner at the music pier at 9 am. Many people come out, both young and old.
People were friendly when walking on the boardwalk. The staff at the stores were friendly and helpful.
I have a new "favorite" breakfast spot on Asbury Street called "Hooked on Breakfast".

Beach was nearby, well-guarded and safe. Area restaurants book up early and reservations during a holiday weekend are definitely necessary. We enjoyed nearby sailing (BayCats), donuts (The Fractured Prune), and ice cream (Kilwin's). Be sure to go beyond just the beach and boardwalk!

Ocean ocean city is a lovely little beach town. We thoroughly enjoyed being there. We loved the eateries and the boardwalk. We didn’t know about the jitney until the last day. It would’ve been helpful to know because of the tight parking.We will definitely come back again.

We love OCNJ. Took our family there every year.
We love OCNJ. Took our family there every year. Now our daughter has her own family! Just love being together at the beach. We love the board walk and all the yummy choices of where to eat. We eat at the Crab Trap every time we come to OCNY! Love the former Chatterbox as well! Always enjoy playing mini golf at the various spots on the boardwalk. Needed to utilize the Cape May Urgent Care Facility! They were absolutely wonderful there.

The location is amazing! We stayed just one night and while it was raining like crazy and the end of winter, some shops were still open (and the ocean is beautiful no matter what time of year). The hotel is absolutely gorgeous- loved the small kitchen we had! Would definitely consider staying more days over the summer.
