Oregon City is a great small town near Portland.
Oregon City is a great small town near Portland. I love visiting Oregon City Brewing. Great beer. 40+ taps. There are numerous food carts nearby. Getting around the town is easy other than rush hour. The area is beautiful. Don't forget to take the municipal elevator to the trail overlooking Wllamette Falls.

Lots of history here that is easy to access by car & walking. Ranee's on Main Street was excellent for Breakfast and Tony's Fish Market had Salmon Fish n Chips! Outstanding.
Take the municipal elevator for great views.

We didn't have a chance to explore the town however our hosts knew the best place to eat for weary travelers and brought it to us on beautiful dishes--salmon chowder.
It was an easily navigable community. The Clackamas River provided a sound ackground that delights.

I was in Oregon City during a terrible and scary ice storm. The hotel was full of people like me stuck because of the storm. They did everything possible to keep the restaurant open. The room was a comfortable temperature. There were even some parking spaces undercover, which was great for me as I was in a rental and had no ice scraper!!

Room was very clean. The issues I had were addressed straight away. Breakfast is hit and miss as it is outsourced but there is a Mcdonalds very nearby.
The best thing about the hotel. Is the amazing hotel staff. Everyone was so helpful!

We loved the view. I loved the restaurant and bar. The breakfast meal was awesome. The location was perfect for all our activities in Oregon City/Milwaukie area. Very secure. I would feel comfortable as a single guest.

Breakfast was outstanding...well prepared and well presented with excellent service. Nice outlook and balcony over the river. Construction at the hotel was a bit inconvenient but these things happen.
