What can I say…. one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Staff greeted us with a smile, kind, polite and helpful! Our 2 bedroom suite was beautiful and overlooked downtown and the mountains. Planning our next anniversary trip to Ouray and this hotel, quaint and romantic.

Small mountain town at 8,000 feet surrounded by much higher mountains. It has a historic downtown as it use to be a mining town. It is now known for Ice Climbing, natural Hot Springs and 4 wheel driving

Perfect location between Telluride and Silverton.

Perfect location between Telluride and Silverton. Beautiful mountains and many hot springs. The drive to Silverton has some of the most breathtaking views. And in town, the Alchemy Museum was such a great visit!

Very scenic with plenty of nice drives to take around to see...

Very scenic with plenty of nice drives to take around to see different views of this southwest part of Colorado. Limited food options in town, but enough to provide variety for my wife and I for 3 days. Nice waterfall in town and very easy to get to. If you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle (we drive a 4runner but saw other types of trucks F150 etc) take the drive on last dollar road. This will dump you into Telluride, but the view from the top is amazing! A mellower drive that any vehicle can make but still has some amazing views is the Owl Creek Pass road.

The restaurants all had significant wait times; it is very touristy in the summer. The food was fine, but every restaurant seemed to be understaffed. Unfortunately, we never made it into the Hot Springs pool because of rain, hail, and lighning, so of course they had to clear it out. But the town is very old, very historic, very scenic. Worth a visit.

Ouray Is a beautiful town!! The hot Springs are very close. There are so many things to do there, ie hiking, swimming, etc. It would be a wonderful time for a single. Or married couple with children. The people are excellent and very friendly.

We come to visit Ouray at least once a year.

We come to visit Ouray at least once a year. Some of the things to do here is for sure eat a delicious hamburger at Maggie's Kitchen; the onion rings were just right. Make sure to do some hiking and visit The Bachelor Syracuse Mine. And of course, soak in the minerals at any of their hot springs!

Location is excellent; even in Winter, we were able to walk the length of Main Street, find coffee and breakfast nearby and wander down to the Wiesbaden hot springs one evening. We stayed in the Miner's Cabin, and my father stayed in one of the rooms in the main property. I've stayed here at the Inn on a previous occasion, and we returned for the wonderfully cosy and comfortable rooms, and the friendly management. The homemade banana bread always makes me grin too.
