Loved being on the first floor and on a corner room. Easiest access to the pool and beach. Very close walk. Host was very easy to get a hold of. I booked my trip a few hours before leaving town and it was easy to get the door code.

Great location, was very clean and well maintained. The owner was in constant contact with me before and during my stay which I was very pleased with. Loved the layout of the condo. With the main bedroom on bottom floor and kitchen and living area on second floor. Then having the other two bedrooms on the third floor for the kids. We will definitely be doing this rental again in the future.

This hotel is very comfortable and clean! The staff are obviously hardworking and caring! Everything was above my expectations including the self serve breakfast. I regret that I wasn’t able to use the pool which was setup for a family outing or just a swim! It too was very well maintained!

as a native Corpus Christian, i always try to take advantage to come home and hang out on the island like i did while i was still in Jr. High and HS, and parts here and there during my college years. now even more so now that my daughter was born. so i try to come home and give her the experience that i had when i was growing up at her age. any chance i can get for a weekend during the spring, summer and early fall, i will do my best to get down there and park my feet in the sand.

Don't expect great seafood.

Don't expect great seafood. If you lower your expectation, you'll be happier. The breakfast at Andy's is great. HEB Plus has great prepared food and cheaper. I like Padre Island better than Galveston Island.

We enjoyed the beaches and had really good food. Doc's was a favorite as well as a steak and seafood place just a little north of us. Maybe Captain's something. I don't remember. Full moon at the beach was amazing!

Padre Island is a great get away.

Padre Island is a great get away. I'd recommend it over Port A. The grocery store is a 10 min drive and there are plenty of great food choices. Ask some of the locals about good places to grab dinner- it's well worth it. The beaches and waves are always fun to hang out. If you enjoy the waves, invest in a good boogie board. If you park on the beach, make sure to get a parking pass. There's public parking which has showers and bathroom. We visit the Corpus area often and choose to stay at a condo on Padre Island. I always feel like I got away and didn't spend a fortune. Don't expect to find good seashells if that's what you're looking for.

It's a beautiful destination, and perfect if you love to...

It's a beautiful destination, and perfect if you love to enjoy nice weather, the most beautiful beaches, and get food at every corner! I highly recommend Snoopy's pier for dinner after spending a day playing and relaxing on the beach! Try to go in off season to avoid as much traffic and packed beaches.

I really like driving on the beach so that you don't have to...

I really like driving on the beach so that you don't have to lug your belongings from the car to your spot. I like that there are a lot of different things to do and you don't have to spend all your time at the beach if you choose not to. I liked traveling to the National Seashore and being able to walk the birding trail and see some different areas of Laguna Madre and how the beaches are being preserved through the ranger discussions. I like that the beaches aren't full of seaweed. There can be tar from the offshore rigs, so that is an issue as it sticks to everything, but overall the beaches are clean.

We received a text message stating our room was ready for early check-in at 12:30pm. We did not arrive until 2:30. First off ground level is not ground level. The parking in under the units. Steps are required since the elevator was out of order. The room had not been cleaned. I went to the front desk and they stated I had to contact the Vacasa firm. At 5:30 that night the room still had not been cleaned. We left and got a hotel. A refund was granted thank goodness. The units are old and run down.

Compass #21 had a cozy beachy feel inside with all of the decor and seemed very spacious for a one bedroom condo. The Vacasa team had great communication via text, email and phone prior to and during our stay in Corpus Christi Beach area. Despite our huge inconvenience experience, they were very nice and did take care of us and made it right.

Nice apartment, would stay again! Everything was very clean. The apartment is convenient, there is plenty of parking, the beds are comfortable and there is enough water pressure and warm water. If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Padre island then this is a good option.

The condos where big enogh got our whole family we traveled down from Ohio and wv for our sons wedding their in Corpus Christi, so this allowed us to do all the things needed to get done for the wedding.
