Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! Everything was spotlessly clean, and the whole place smelled amazing. We got such a warm welcome and were even able to check in early at no extra charge. The breakfast was delicious and really generous — lots of options with both hot and cold dishes. The location is perfect, 10 min. walk to a beautiful beach. We felt totally comfortable and very welcome the whole stay! Safe neighborhood.

Spacious parking lot. Wonderful room. I would like to have been able to open the window and hear the waves. But considering the level of humidity, I understand why they don't allow it. And safety reasons of course. Also the balcony could be separated between rooms and create a nice sitting space. Pack light because there's no elevator. 😅😅 I definitely recommend the place! It's beautiful, quiet, clean and the staff is great.

The entire time we were there it was a Red Flag Alert, so...

The entire time we were there it was a Red Flag Alert, so the wind and surf were quite active making the water less than ideal. Great food at Snoopy's, which is just off the causeway on the way into Port A. Recommend renting a golf cart to get to the beach to spare your vehicle from sand, etc. and they are everywhere, so easy to get around in. We really enjoyed Treasure Island for nightlife since it's four "bars" that are all connected. Good live music.

as a native Corpus Christian, i always try to take advantage to come home and hang out on the island like i did while i was still in Jr. High and HS, and parts here and there during my college years. now even more so now that my daughter was born. so i try to come home and give her the experience that i had when i was growing up at her age. any chance i can get for a weekend during the spring, summer and early fall, i will do my best to get down there and park my feet in the sand.

Mustang Beach was a fantastic destination with a wonderful selection of restaurants offering some of the best food we’ve ever had. The variety of shops added to the experience, with plenty to choose from for everyone. Everywhere we went, the locals were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommend Mustang Beach for a warm and welcoming getaway!

When driving from San Antonio, there aren't a lot of places...

When driving from San Antonio, there aren't a lot of places to get food. When we came back, there was an overcrowded McDonald's. The food was cold, and I "wasn't loving it." If driving the three hours between locations, plan on eating something before leaving.

Don't expect great seafood. If you lower your expectation, you'll be happier. The breakfast at Andy's is great. HEB Plus has great prepared food and cheaper. I like Padre Island better than Galveston Island.

Clean, super efficient check in process, no complaints. Coffee maker, dishes, great AC, pool was clean, shampoo and conditioner and other condiments provided, along with paper towels and lots of towels. Overall no complaints, great great stay! And the folks at Silversands are very friendly, informative, and provided great customer service.

We really enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! We ate at Mack daddy’s for dinner and it was superb! The brisket and the turkey was out of this world! We also ate at port A creamery and was also very impressed as well! The beach was amazing even after the storms blew through lol. It wasn’t very crowded at all and everyone here was so nice and respectful. It was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back!!! Very very relaxing atmosphere.

We enjoyed the beaches and had really good food. Doc's was a favorite as well as a steak and seafood place just a little north of us. Maybe Captain's something. I don't remember. Full moon at the beach was amazing!
