United StatesEverything about The 1857 is fabulous. Its location is great right at the river. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom with the wonderful marble shower and soaking tub was great. The layout of the room with the 2 sitting chairs was awesome. We loved everything about it. It was spotlessly clean.

United StatesFantastic breakfast options in the morning. The breakfast runs from 6 am to 9 am and we got to the breakfast area around 7:20 am. There was only one other family there and all of the items were stocked well. Facility was very clean and looked modern along with the room we received.

The rest stop infomation center is a wonderful historic...
The rest stop infomation center is a wonderful historic mansion. Its a beautiful landmark. I would love to tour the house, but I usually stop there at night, after the hours for seeing the rooms furnished with antiques. I'm very glad this house was saved from demolition and was repurposed for this unique and attractive rest stop beside the interstate highway!

There are two Paducah's.
There are two Paducah's. Every form of modern commerce can be found near the interstate entrance while the old area near the river has been revitalized for folks interested in arts and crafts (especially quilt fans) and history buffs of any age. There are a number of fascinating museums including the National Quilt Museum featuring some amazing modern quilt displays and also train, maritime and river life museums too!
There is also riverside walking area with dozens of informative murals that provide a very informative view of Pauduch from it's beginnings to today's latest activities.

We liked downtown area by the Ohio River and The National Quilt Museum.
It helped that we had time to drive around the town - afternoon of our arrival and next morning before and after our visit to the National Quilt Museum.

Although we were there only for one night, we did wish we stayed another couple! The hotel amenities were the best in all the hotels we stayed in from East to West coast....
The Staff were top of the line and quite frankly, I wish they could give tips to others in the hotel world of how to treat guests.....
Change nothing Paducah; you are already the best hotel... at least in my book....!

I came to Paducah because of the quilt museum which I so...
I came to Paducah because of the quilt museum which I so enjoyed. But I think we really enjoyed the museums and the picture flood wall as much as the quilt museum. The trip was four hours and an easy drive. Paducah was easy to get around after the first few hours of downtown places to visit.

There was so much to do and so many things to see, going...
There was so much to do and so many things to see, going down by the river was beautiful they also have a quilting Museum if you're interested in that. it was really cool. So many places to eat from your basic fast food to some really nice restaurants so many things we didn't have time to see. most of it!
we need to go back!
If we had the money we would have stayed for a few weeks.
Is super hard on a fixed income🙃

We have a habit of staying at Drury Inns, and this was one of the Very Best Drurys we have ever stayed at! Staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the food was high-quality and well prepared, the room was extremely comfortable. We admired the interior layout of the hotel with inward-facing room doors and a center chandelier. Directly on the highway exit and easy to enter/exit. Overall, we are quite happy we chose this hotel on our road trip!

The front desk manager was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The location was convenient being right off the highway. We had not planned on stopping but due to bad weather we had to stop for the night. This hotel was very reasonable and allowed our dog to stay.
