I needed a pet room and surprisingly the room was very clean I thought it would be shabby because I was traveling with my dog. I’m glad the floors were vinyl I did the paper towel floor test by damping a paper towel and wiping it along the floor to see if it turned black or brown and it wasn’t so housekeeping is doing a great job. The bed was very comfortable I had a really good night sleep with four different pillows that were different firmness to choose from. The room also had your own little patio with chairs and table very nice. The morning breakfast had a lot to choose from being a continental style it even had pancakes which were quite good. Overall this Days Inn is a A+ for what you get and paid for would definitely stay there again very good experience.

What Guests Said About Port Charlotte:

This was my second visit to Port Charlotte.

This was my second visit to Port Charlotte. I chose it for its convenience to friends and family I was visiting in Punta Gorda and Bonita Springs. When reviewing properties, I found Port Charlotte to be less expensive than these communities, The neighborhoods I stayed in were older (1960's) with small ranch style homes on canals. The homes were a mix of original and updated, and it was fun to ramble through Realtor.com to see what was on the market and the values. I did not explore much of Port Charlotte but stayed along the Tamiami Trail where there was shopping and restaurants.

Port Charlotte is ideal for a place to stay for exploration...

Port Charlotte is ideal for a place to stay for exploration of the surrounding areas. It has some lovely restaurants and enough shops for more than your basic needs. Whilst the local mall is disappointing the larger shopping malls and outlet malls are within easy reach. Gulf of Mexico beaches too are within a 30-40 minute drive.

Port Charlotte looks like it is going downhill.

Port Charlotte looks like it is going downhill. Some malls had only a few stores and many stores have left the malls. Empty stores. Dirty unkept areas, boulevards, parking lots were seen everywhere. Garbage was noticed in parking lots, and along roadways. We won’t be back. Nicer areas in Florida to visit. Port Charlotte is not one of them.

The rooms are large, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, small kitchen but is quite adequate. The condo is dated but clean. Great pool area. Parking is below the condo complex so covered parking. Big screened in porch with a couple of chairs and small table. Great value for the price.

Hotel was right off interstate and had parking for large vechiles. Lots of variety with the complimentary breakfast, hot protein changed every day we were there (ham, bacon, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, were our onion while there). Typical 2 bed room with TV and fridge. Didn't use pool, and there was an area with tables should you wish to bbq outside. Pet friendly at no extra cost Friendly staff Booking was easy Restaurants and services (gas, shopping) close by

Amazing pools, very large one downstairs and a adults only rooftop pool. (The young pool/towel staff worked really hard and were very nice).Very clean everywhere and lovely views over the bay from our room. Nicely laid out hotel with a few restaurants and a food court if you wanted a snack or takeaway. Local places like Fishermans Village and Peace River Botanical Gardens worth a visit
