Port Clinton is a very nice place to visit.
Port Clinton is a very nice place to visit. Our granddaughter loved the lighthouse area. We visited the Safari walk through and drive through. It was fantastic. We visited the oldest ice cream shop, Toft's Ice Cream, and it did not disappoint. The largest servings I have ever seen as well as delicious. The trip swas a birthday present, but I wish we could have had more time to visit more lakeside sights. We created lasting memories.

The light house grounds was so sadly discussing couldn't walk even on the walls without geese feces couldn't walk on the beach even for dead carcuses of fish lying all up and down the beach areas. I picture the light house to be clean and beautiful and I was disappointed 😞.

Sweet little town in a great location.
Sweet little town in a great location. We were able to drive over to Cleveland to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum and go to Cedar Point. The main reason we went to Port Clinton was for the fishing charter. Very family friendly area.

The amenities and hominess of the condo was well thought out. Extras, like plastic wrap, toiletries and spices. Not being coffee drinkers, the tea bags/hot chocolate were nice to have. It would have been nice to have a dining table, rather than the bars, but that's minor.

Port Clinton is the kind of Lake Town you are hoping for...
Port Clinton is the kind of Lake Town you are hoping for with a young family. The atmosphere was relaxed, and people were friendly. There is a great playground for the kids near City Beach and plenty of restaurants to choose from. City layout isn't very complicated and most if not everything to do in the town is always just 5-10 minutes from everything else. Lake Erie is a great body of water and pretty clean to boot. We went the weekend before Labor Day and there were a couple of nights where live music was being played during a pub-crawl sort of deal. Things weren't too rowdy, and we never felt unsafe walking about.

We like the Port Clinton area, close to Island hopping,...
We like the Port Clinton area, close to Island hopping, restaurants and beaches. Sad to see the decline in the downtown stores, some only open Thursday-Saturday, did not get to shop. Hope the hotel revives the bar and restaurant.

Spacious well appointed rooms, great breakfast and helpful staff. Internet was fast and stable and the location puts you close to the highway to get to Sandusky quickly. Easily competitive with much more expensive hotels.

The staff is always excellent and the location is right downtown next to all of the bars and restaurants. When the hotel bar and restaurant opens it will really be a nice place to stay.

Location and proximity to downtown Port Clinton was nice. Being next to a Wendy's made it extremely comfortable to get a late night snack. Overall, the room and bed were nice and definitely worth the price.
