Location is why we chose the hotel and it doesn’t disappoint. We knew abt the shared bathroom ahead of time and don’t mind it. Note: it’s not a communal bathroom. You lock the door and use the shower and bathroom by yourself. Bathroom is clean every time we use it.

The staff was very accommodating. The “extras” added were very appreciated - the bistro drink and salad and soup bar. Our stay was much more than expected. We were upgraded to an ocean view room with no extra charge. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

We have been here before and like the waterfront view and the great breakfast.It’s not served as a buffet anymore,on check in you tick choices on a menu.Lots of choices.Then you can choose what time you want it delivered to your room.Although on a busy road it is quiet.We were very kindly upgraded to a fabulous waterfront chalet with wrap around decks.Thankyou Chas at Oyster Bay Inn and Booking!Private parking space for our motorcycle right outside the chalet.

Wonderful location close to the Harbor and Doc's, an excellent restaurant and Streamliners, an excellent breakfast place. Hubs and I had one beautiful room; my brother had another. Only downside was time lost trying to figure out how to get anything on the televisions. Comfortable attractive rooms.

Poulsbo has a nice, little downtown area.

Poulsbo has a nice, little downtown area. Easy walking from shops to restaurants, some with views of the marina. Public parking is available although quite full during the summer months, even during mid-week. There is some street parking if you're able to walk a few blocks. Lots of parks near by as well.

This is our second visit to Poulsbo and we love it.

This is our second visit to Poulsbo and we love it. The historic downtown near the water is quaint and lovely. Fun places to eat, get coffee, visit the shops, and stroll. We visited the Maritime Museum and learning the history of Poulsbo, including the proper pronunciation of the town’s name 😉, is very interesting. The Town & Country Market is the nicest grocery store I’ve ever been in and it is so much more than just a market. Freshly prepared food, beer and wine, grab & go meals, it has a lot. Poulsbo is a jewel and I can’t wait for our next visit!

Poulsbo itself is a quaint Nordic village.

Poulsbo itself is a quaint Nordic village. The historic section is full of shops and good food. There was free public parking, a famous bakery and some local museums. There is a waterfront harbor and a short walking trail. For me, it would only take about 1 day to take in its sights. You need a car to travel to the other scenic locations and the ferry into Seattle.

I would not consider Poulsbo a 'destination' unless you are...

I would not consider Poulsbo a 'destination' unless you are boating. There is a lot of shore line, but no access except one park with no bathroom. The busy wharf area's parking lot was always full and hard to find a spot. Restaurants and shops are scattered around, but nothing noteworthy. There was an outdoor concert with a few benches. Best if you bring your own chair, which might be difficult for travelers. The main problem was the limited parking.

One if the most amazing places I have ever been to. Absolutely stunning. Reminds me of Pete's Dragon the movie. Right on the water, and nobody is around, I'm guessing come summer it's crazy. I'm curious.

Place is like a hidden emerald I didn't expect the sights around, it's a little cozy place great for romantic getaways or just trying to find a place to escape. The little shops they have are excellent feels like a big town. Getting around is a little confusing at first cause everything blends in but once you figure out where you are it's pretty easy to find your way around

An older hotel that has been very well maintained. Spacious cabin-like rooms. The carpet is a little overdue for replacement but the mattresses were comfortable and the room was impeccably clean. We would definitely stay again!
