Quincy is a quaint town.
Quincy is a quaint town. We were there on Plumas County business. The courthouse is majestic. Pizza was fantastic at Leon and Roy's and breakfast at Quincy Provisions in the Carey Candy Co. building for breakfast was so good... I had the bacon/cheese quiche and my son had a deli sandwich. We both enjoyed the food in Quincy.

Small mountain college town, with lots of outdoors activities. I personally was there to hike in the Bucks Mountain Wilderness area. Couple of cafes for caffeine, though they close early afternoon. Morning Thunder cafe for breakfast, though not open mon/tues. I wish I'd tried The Knook, probably fancy, and there is even a wine bar. But plenty of bars. Restaurants were meh, otherwise. Good pizza next to the co-op. Oh, there's a co-op grocery store.

Quaint town with great history and friendly people.
Quaint town with great history and friendly people. I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Moons Restaurant.
I stopped at the Safeway and picked up some snacks.
I would have loved to have stayed longer to hike a few trails.

Quincy is located in a beautiful mountainous area untouched by fires. It is still green there. A ton of hiking, fishing, hunting, opportunities. When I was there in Mid September, they had a Jazz festival going on.
