This was possibly the most comfortable room I've ever stayed in. From the amazing bed and pillows to the furniture and bath amenities, everything was well thought out. Not only is it dog friendly but they went above and beyond with dog beds, food and water bowls, and literal doggie bags for both of my fuzzy kids, with treats, a roll of baggies, and tennis balls. The location was perfect. There is a bridge crossing the water in the back, which takes you to a great hiking trail head. On top of the incredible amenities and location, the staff was wonderful, making sure our stay was as good as could be. My wife and I are avid travelers. We highly recommend Rock Creek Resort for anyone looking for a great place to stay in Red Lodge.

Great place to stay and eat - very inviting with many choices of places to eat and see. Not an overwhelming tourist place, but there were a lot of tourists. Small inviting town with a rich history. We could have spent a second day here.

Driving into this little town of 2200 souls was like driving into Brigadoon... I wanted to stay the rest of the summer! I will be back for sure, and next time it will be for more than just an evening!!

Red Lodge is a nice place to visit.

Red Lodge is a nice place to visit. Enjoyed the rustic feel of the town. Food was good & people were friendly. Driving the Beartooth Highway from Cooke City (NE Yellowstone gate) to Red Lodge is a must - excellent scenery! Visited the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary & really enjoyed seeing all of their animals - highly recommend! Saw lots of deer around the town.

It was great ambiance, a log cabin type bldg with excellent decor, It was close to down town, but far enough out so that the noise & lights of the downtown area did not affect us. It has a hot tub ! We ate at a Sicilian Restraunt, good decor, good food, a bit expensive ($$$) and since everything is on or next to the main street thru town you cannot get lost.

we went on june 8 2024. the entire city seems to be that 1 main road. and then that's it. boring as hell. it's also quite a distance away from beartooth byway, from yellowstone. truly nothing to see there. unless, maybe, during the winter? wikipedia has some kind words for red lodge, but me personally, there was nothing to do.

Amazing time in Red Lodge Montana!!

Amazing time in Red Lodge Montana!! Lovely town with great scenery and friendly locals!! There was lots to do!! Enjoyed White water rafting, wild life sanctuary, shopping and amazing food!!! Bogarts was a favourite!! But you MUST to go to the Snag Bar for the best burger in town!! Thank you Red Lodge for your hospitality and the memories!!

Lovely inn just outside Red Lodge at the start of the Beartooth Highway. Owners were very friendly and happy to help make restaurant recommendations and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was great and had a nice talk with the owners. Room was nice and big and had very comfortable beds.

The room was comfortable, the hotel was just on the edge of town (which was fine), about 20 mins walk into the town. There was a pool and hot tub (very nice, and unexpected). Breakfast was “to go” but there was a fabulous choice to help yourself to. A great place to stay in Red Lodge.

Extensive renovations to this historic hotel in recent years have restored it to its former glory. If you haven' stayed in awhile, you should plan another visit. Try the eggs benedict with smoke salmon for breakfast!
