Ash on the front desk was ABSOLUTELY amazing dealing with a snafu by Booking.com. Could not have gotten better service. Kudos to him!!! BED was amazingly comfortable and the best pillows EVER.

My experience with Rifle was mostly in the dark because I arrived very late at night. I moved on the very next day, headed for Nebraska, but Rifle appeared to be a great stop for tourists and sight-seeing.

Rifle is great....

Rifle is great.... Do not use Rodeway Inn. rooms stink... rooms filthy... staff terrible... no working showers/tubs. Staff terrible. Liars cheats and thieves! Did I say Don't use Rodeway Inn.

Cute little town, nice people.

Cute little town, nice people. There is a nice coffee shop just a block away on the main street and a Philly bar with great food and beer and nice people one block away as well. Hotel was so surprising clean for a Motel. There are fresh beautiful flowers everywhere. Nice breakfast. Staff is professional and friendly.

This was a quick stop on my own personal Drive, Hike, Explore journey. I stayed one night in Rifle. I ate at Sammy's Rocky Mountain Steakhouse. The server was very personable. I have a lot of food sensitivities and several allergies. They did their best to accommodate my needs. I enjoyed a lovely House Burger (minus the cheese and bun) over a garden salad and I was thrilled they had olive oil for the topping. (most restaurants don't supply olive oil). I paired that with a Smoked margarita (and a glass of water) that hit the spot after a long day of traveling. I popped over to City Market and picked up some more water and healthy snacks for the road and went back to my quiet, safe, clean room at the Comfort Inn (refrigerator in the room). I woke to the view of the sun rising against the mountains (see photo attached). I wish I could have stayed longer and explored Rifle, yet it was time to get on with the Driving portion of my adventure.

I really enjoyed our visit to Rifle, Co had Lunch at the Brick House; they had great food; and then traveled and visited Rifle falls.. Rifle falls was beautiful; a must see if you have not been there..

The town is ugly and messed up with construction, I'd like to come back when all the construction is done, but the trails and camping areas are beautiful. We walked up to Rifle Falls and enjoyed a beautiful waterfall and cave view, which was really cool.

The staff was amazing. It was in a great location. The room was large and looked as though had been redone not too long ago. The carpets and bathtub looked new and clean. It also had a rather large refrigerator for a hotel, which was nice because we were on a road trip so it fit all of our food in it so we could replenish the ice for the next day.

The location was very convenient, very close to the highway exit with lots of facilities nearby. The breakfast was very good, with hot scrambled eggs and sausages and biscuits in addition to a waffle maker. The elevator was quick. The exhaust fan in the bathroom worked well.
