We love the san clemente beach trail, you can start at the...
We love the san clemente beach trail, you can start at the pier and go for a long walk or a short walk and finish off with some food from the shops across from the pier and then hang out at the beach for awhile. If you're there when the trolley is running you can take it for free to more shopping and more restaurants, or even to the outlets. It's really great because you can keep your car parked at your hotel and the trolley will probably get you where you need to go.

An old surfing town with beautiful Spanish architecture and beach. Many local restaurants and fine dining. Wonderful city for families and couples and dogs! We'll go back soon to see more of it.

We love the space and how clean was the beach, but needs more garbage containers.
I will like more activities to do.
Like having an outdoor exercise mini gym area.

Charming little town with lots of shopping and restaurant options. The beaches are clean and very pretty. The town is well lit at night with pretty, sparkling little lights and quite lovely. We were there in April and there were very few tourists or vacationers. It was quiet, uncrowded and very enjoyable. Super easy access from the train.

San Clemente is a great place to stay in southern California...
San Clemente is a great place to stay in southern California. The beach is beautiful and not overcrowded. There are some excellent choices for clean, healthy eating and the shops are varied and fun to browse through. It has a small town feel. It is very close to and easily accessible from the John Wayne Airport. It is easy to get around, there is plenty of parking, and once you do, everything is pretty much within walking distance. It is one of our favorite destinations.

Laying in that bed was like floating on a puffy cloud! View from bed was absolutely breathtaking! The shower was Amazing… perfect water temp within seconds, water pressure was OUTSTANDING and the high shower head made it wonderful since I’m tall!
The only thing that may have been not so great is the view from the balcony… ( paint store next door… but I think if the store was painted and given a beachy look it would of been better)
But honestly the comfort of the bed which was absolutely INCREDIBLE, The Tropical view thru the French doors from the bed was STUNNING, and the AMAZING shower was worth every penny and then some!!! I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back!!!

Everything was great, room was spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Everywhere was clean. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Even though it was right next to the freeway we didn't hear the traffic very much. Fairly close (5 min drive) to San Clemente pier and main shopping area.

Great spot, best hotel location in town. We are Canadian so seeing San Clemente was special for us, what a nice town !!! The view coming down the hill the evening we arrived, blew us away. Hotel and the room was all great, the staff were all smiley and friendly. Loved our visit !!!

I would not call it breakfast. The hotel served some prepackaged food in the morning and I am sure it was with the best of intentions - but it all had far too much sugar for my taste.
