The outdoor space is lovely. I only wish I could come back in the spring when it would be warmer. I really appreciate that the staff allowed me a late check-out because I was teaching an online class from the room.

Scotts Valley is a delightful community with cute shops good food and close to Santa Cruz and the beach. We found a charming farmers market there too on the day we explored. Shopped Zinnia's cute gift shop and their sister home store down the road. Ate a yummy brunch at a cute little stop just north on Mt Herman Road. Great waffle! Delicious chicken pesto sandwich too! Lots of interesting shopping and folks very friendly and a nice community all around!

Breakfast was really bad one the first day!

Breakfast was really bad one the first day! We had to go out and eat because the scrambled eggs tasted like plastic and sausage patty had a weird smell. Second day, the eggs were a bit better and bacon was decent. I had latte from the machine and was awful that I threw the whole cup away after two sips. The waffle from the machine for both days was good and saved the day!

I go to Scotts valley to meet with people who share a similar interest with me. I have NO IDEA about any touristy things because I have no interest in them. There is a small Mexican restaurant walking distance from the motel that is excellent and very authentic.

The staff is wonderful! Very kind and helpful! Room was good, just slightly dated. The waffle maker wasn’t working, so no waffles at breakfast! 😞 they were very accommodating when it came to my dogs, they were kind and placed me in the end first floor room which made taking care of them much easier. Less noise less traffic etc.

Scotts Valley was a wonderful location to visit.

Scotts Valley was a wonderful location to visit. There are many things nearby to do such as state parks, Santa Cruz, boardwalk and pier and plenty of shopping, hiking and other activities the location was wonderful the hotel not so much

Good for where it is located.

Good for where it is located. Not much to choose from in the area, but it was a decent place to stay. Booking.com shows breakfast is $13, but that is not true. A regular menu is available with prices for different items. Even though we booked a king bed, we were given a room with double queens. At least it had a view (of the courtyard). I guess they overbooked the king bed rooms. The closet is not tall enough for full length dresses, jackets or suits, only shirts. The room was clean and comfortable.
