The staff was so nice, especially Ceci in the mornings for the complementary breakfast, and Emma at the front desk. The general Manager was also very nice and professional.

Ash on the front desk was ABSOLUTELY amazing dealing with a snafu by Booking.com. Could not have gotten better service. Kudos to him!!! BED was amazingly comfortable and the best pillows EVER.

We dined at Miners Claim restaurant. Loved the atmosphere.

We dined at Miners Claim restaurant. Loved the atmosphere. We had beef medallions. They were delicious. Very tender. The veg were undercooked to our taste. We highly recommend Miners Claim! They also have a shuttle that will pick you up and bring you back from a local motel or campground. Driver was excellent. He recognized my voice when I called for our pick up.

I discovered the little business district while overnighting...

I discovered the little business district while overnighting at Red River Inn, a few blocks farther down Main Street. I was very impressed with my meal at Miner's Claim Restaurant. There's a decent liquor store with a good selection of beverages, and a cozy cafe/bakery for breakfast and coffee. I passed a small grocery store on Main Street as well, but I did not shop there. Taco and burrito food trucks offer other food options. Silt is easily reached from I-70, but Main Street is far enough away from the interstate that one does not hear traffic noise.
