Location had everything we needed. Close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Host provided early and prompt communication on entry that did not require checking in with a front desk. Great nearby food location (Gena’s). Enjoyed the patio table and chairs with my morning coffee and two local rabbits in the field next door. Would be a pleasure to come again.

Absolutely amazing place to get away. Cute decor and lots of entertainment for our kiddos. My son called it the "cool house" and kept wanting to stay there all day! (He's 3 :) ) Lots of animals and a trampoline, would definitely come back. Everything was set up perfectly for us inside and has a nice cozy feel. Bobbie answered any questions I had right away and her husband always had something new to show the kids outside. Absolutely amazing little get away for our family. We picked here because it was between Yosemite and Sequoia National parks and made it possible to see both without driving too far each day.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain cabin. We visited kings canyon & sequoia national park. The coffee outside had delicious tea, coffee, bagels and cookies. Would really recommend. It was very hot during our stay but nice and cool inside due to air conditioning. 6 miles up is a conservation park for big cats, cat haven, which we loved. Cheyenne was really responsive and helped us out.

The location was perfect for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon national parks. We loved the room, and the scenery. We really appreciated the microwave, refrigerator and provided dishes. This place felt loved and well cared for. This was a wonderful stop on our road trip as a couple of newly weds.

If you like getting off the beaten path and zipping around...

If you like getting off the beaten path and zipping around corners, this is a great place for it. These back roads give you an alternate way to get to the parks with less traffic. The scenery is great. I plan to come back with my motorcycle in the future.

This was our base to explore the two local national parks.

This was our base to explore the two local national parks. It was centrally located to both and made it easy to access both over three days stay in this area. It's well worth staying here, but you do need access to your own transport. The pizza restaurant in the village was great, good value and the pizza was good too. There is a small supermarket and a petrol station too. There is very limited mobile (cell phone) signal throughout the are. Best to make sure your have your route map downloaded, to guide you through the service black spots

It was a last minute booking and we didn't expect much. But to book this room was the best decision we could make. The hosts are super nice, they have large "petting zoo", which is actually their farm. They have nice trampoline for kids and deep swimming pool (good for warm season only). We totally loved staying there. Highly recommend!

A complete surprise. It was magical. The rooms were great, the breakfast superb and the whole venue very special. If your trip consists of mindless hotels/ motels, I can only recommend Rustic Rooms as a complete change. Your stay will become a memorable part of your holiday.
