Exactly what I needed. An exceptionally clean and comfortable room with a spotless bathroom, comfortable bed, and all the small details that make a stay better and easier. I just spent a week on the road in a different town every night. This place had the best, bed, sheets, bathroom, lighting, and ambiance. It's not super fancy but it's totally comfortable and clean. Very inviting. And the view from the room is wonderful, looking out across a big meadow leading down to the river. The woodchucks cavorting in the meadow are very entertaining.

Beautifully restored with old fashioned charm, this place is a hidden gem. A perfect couple’s getaway, the staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious-the restaurant menu was excellent- and the whole experience was wonderful. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Super chill and comfortable. Great fireplace, nice kitchen. Was able to walk outside and throw a line in. Great natural light perfect for puzzle people. Sauna was a nice addition and the internet worked great.

This is an amazing historical inn which practices old school...

This is an amazing historical inn which practices old school hospitality. Lovely rooms, exceptional breakfast, country location. Step back in time and experience the charm of an aged, stately lake house, beautifully appointed throughout. We felt we were guests at a wealthy man’s country home which was off the beaten path but clearly was visited often and carried many generations of memories created at lakeside. The inn is weathered but quaintly decorated and updated appropriately here and there. Somehow, it maintains its historical flair which is what makes it so enchanting and alluring. If you want an old fashioned type country retreat, stay here.

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed.

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. Very cozy and comfortable. We loved that it was family owned and operated. Sari and her daughter were very attentive and treated us like we were family. The food was wonderful, many different options to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located off the beaten path, very quiet and peaceful.
