The coffee and promised donuts were amazing, the check out person even gave me some local tips on how to get around. The motel was close to all local amenities, like Walgreens, restaurants, etc.

The rural atmosphere is pleasant, if that's what you're looking for. The shops are within walking distance and most of the people are happy. The coffee shops are both really nice. We enjoyed talking to the owner of Bulldog Bakery. He made our coffee with true love. Next time I visit Staunton, I will avoid Super8. They think it's perfectly normal for ants to be inside rooms.
