The man at check-in was very friendly and funny. He recommended the restaurant next door for dinner, and for good reason! We appreciated that so we didn't have to get back on our bike to go eat.

HOnestly I checked around and the best thing i could find...

HOnestly I checked around and the best thing i could find about sullivan was that it was close to Merimac Cavern, which is a really cool tour, and you can do things like canoeing and zip lining there too. About 10 miles away. There was not much interesting in th town of sullivan itself that I could see.

We have travelled to Sullivan several times the past few...

We have travelled to Sullivan several times the past few years to attend the fall music festival at Meramec Cave. We have previously enjoyed learning more about Sullivan, checking out shops and restaurants. This year we relaxed and enjoyed the motel until the music program began.

I stayed here because motels here were more reasonable than...

I stayed here because motels here were more reasonable than closer to the event I was going to visit , it was fairly close to the event I go to . Lots of places to eat and stores to buy what you might have forgotten .

The young man who checked us in was very nice but charged me...

The young man who checked us in was very nice but charged me twice. I’m still waiting on an answer to my refund. The door to the room had no seals and it was below freezing with arctic wind blasting in. Thankfully we had a lot of our own blankets in the car as otherwise we would have frozen!!!!! 🥶 Probably ok in summer but avoid in winter.

It was so family friendly.

It was so family friendly. We have a host home and care for special need kids/young adults. They did not have an issue at all helping our kids with the vending machines, pool, or directions. We felt our kids were safe enough there to let them have a little freedom and feel independent. They visited with our kids and made them feel so good about themselves. We have stayed in several places and do have to say this was the best for our particular family's needs. We got to actually rest and not worry if our kids were going to be thought of as an annoyance. We loved it!

I was passing through, and needed a place to stay for the...

I was passing through, and needed a place to stay for the night. Motel 6 was right off the highway, and an excellent value for the price. The clerk on duty was extremely polite and helpful. The room was clean and air conditioned ( it was 90+ outside). The only downside was the condition of the parking lot, but that couldn’t be helped.

The motel was very clean and had updated rooms, the bed was comfy and the bathroom and carpet seemed new. The staff were warm and friendly and the breakfast buffet, although very basic, was adequate. The hotel is near Route 66 and the Meramec Caves.
