The hotel was very nice! It was a 5 minute walk to the square and shopping! We enjoyed the live music in the square. The hotel breakfast was very nice. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby!

I liked everything, except they would not let me play in the open basketball she stated that I have to be a RESIDENT!!!! At the Olympia Rec. She was not to nice to my wife!! This was my second time visiting and I will be back!! I also went to alot of open house's almost ready to buy.

Although it is a nice area, there is not much to do unless...

Although it is a nice area, there is not much to do unless you play golf. For activities or excursions, its quite a drive. The closest shopping is Ocala, a 30 min drive. It is a very quiet community, so if you just want to lay by a pool all day, this is your spot. The nearest beach is 1.5 hours. I did not realize this was a 55+ community when I booked the house, which explains the vibe. Watch out for golf carts, there are more of them than cars :)

The culture and amenities at The Villages were awesome for...

The culture and amenities at The Villages were awesome for any active senior to enjoy. We walked 3 miles every morning, played pickle ball for 1.5 hours and then swam to cool off before trying out a new and different golf resort restaurant for lunch. After an afternoon 1-hour nap we were ready to explore by golf cart the MANY different neighborhoods with their amenities. One late afternoon we went to a current movie at a campus theatre and then on another afternoon we listened to a scheduled national American History lecturer. Dinner cuisine options were limitless in The Villages and we usually were ready for bed by 9pm. We will be back to meet many more friendly seniors from all over the USA as we explore more of the growing Villages!!!

Excellent price performer - comfortable, clean room. Pillows are a little hard. Staff very friendly. No parking issues. Oakwood BBQ right next to hotel. Very good location for our visit to the villages

We ate at Cody's steakhouse and it was great!

We ate at Cody's steakhouse and it was great! The service was excellent And a very friendly atmosphere! We also ate at the Mexican restaurant near the downtown music scene! The chairs and the view was a great location for all in attendance!

The home was exactly as described, very nice and clean everything I needed. The area was perfect! Great location not far from Lake Sumter Landing where they have nighty entertainment. Plenty of restaurants and things to do. The Brownwood was about 15 to 20 minutes away which is a great spot to see.

Very clean and comfortable, pet friendly. Rooms are a little dated, but spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good, lots of options. Chilis right next door, lots of other food options in area. Very close to Spanish Springs towne center with nightly entertainment. Nice vacation in the villages
