We loved it a lot. The Lodge is perfectly located to visit the Redwood national park. The room was very cozy and cute. We used the little kitchenette every morning to make breakfast. Trinidad has some beautiful spots to watch the sunset.

The juxtaposition of old and new. The modern touches cohabiting with vintage finds. The brushed gold fixtures on the door knobs and drawer pulls are the jewelry to beautifully plastered walls, classic vintage and traditional furniture-a dashing touch of elegance. The carved stone vessel sink. The veined black and beige marble floor tiles in the bathroom, unexpected. The unique lighting thruought and the hand white washed oak LVP floors, artistic. The linens on the bed, comfortable. These are some of the reasons travelers stay here. It's a cozy space. It's not new. While rusty around some edges, it feels luxurious. It's been here, it feels like a warm hug, and it's the right place to be. Savor it. Absorb it. Take it all in. Enjoy. And, best of all, I was able to enjoy my stay at Rock Rose Cottage with my two fur babies.

It was the cleanest RV report we have ever stayed at! We stayed at the little cottages with 2 adults, 1 child, and a small dog. The site has nice walking paths, small dog park, fire pits at each site, and indoor jacuzzi. The jacuzzi btw was so sparkling clean with a gorgeous view of the ocean. There are tide pools close by for a quick drive and restaurants less than 10 minutes away. This is such a hidden gem. My son didn’t want to leave his little house.

This is a quaint little spot; the view of the bay was spectacular. We ate at The Eatery and were happy with our meal. Parking was a bit tough, but we found a spot near the restaurant. I would definitely like to visit again.

Trinidad is in a beautiful location on the ocean and in the redwoods. We like to go in the summer to escape the heat and be out in nature. It is also home to the amazing Larrupin Cafe. This is a beautiful restaurant in a very unexpected location. Arcata is only about 15 minutes away and is a funky little college town with good restaurants, brew pubs and a farmers market on Saturdays with outstanding organic and home grown produce.

Murphy Market still has killer deli sandwiches.

Murphy Market still has killer deli sandwiches. Enjoyed the gift shops across the street. There are 3 all very different in what they carry. I work with beads so was able to pick up some unique supplies I can't get online. I was too busy with work and visiting friends that had I stayed longer would have enjoyed going to Moonstone Grill and Laripens. Also a nice walk down to the pier. Humboldt county is my happy place there is so much beauty and so many things to explore that are very unique to this area.

Trinidad is a small community (no fast food, movie theater, it's about nature's beauty). We loved the nearby parks with giant Redwoods, sitting by the ocean (it's cool wear long sleeves), enjoyed watching the ocean from one of the Inn's nice decks with a glass of wine.

Trinidad is a very cute seaside town in Humboldt County. There are a few beaches to choose from, some cute gift stores, places to eat, a grocery store and easy access to the surrounding area. The Hangtown Fry from Seascape Restaurant on the pier has changed my life!!

The hotel is just 18 minutes away from Thomas Kuchel Visitor Center in Redwood National Park. We did two days of hiking in Redwood NP. So it really helps to stay at this hotel. Innkeeper cooks great breakfast.
