United StatesI use a walker and struggled to open the door to the lobby to check in. The pleasant clerk came to my "rescue" and held open the door. As she was checking me in she mentioned she needed to do some "moving things around" on the computer. What I believe she was doing was assigning us a room RIGHT NEXT TO the door from the parking lot. Yay!!!

I came for an event at the Vermillion Arts Council gallery...
I came for an event at the Vermillion Arts Council gallery and Coyote 2 Theater. Both exceeded my expectations! The exhibit event was well displayed, and the food was well displayed and tasty! All employees and staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help.
The murals on the sides of buildings in Vermillion were incredibly beautiful and meaningful. One of the most enjoyable parts of my stay was to read and hear about the interaction of diverse cultures in the region working together. Bravo! This small town embraces working together for the good of all. Shopkeepers were friendly, wait staff at restaurants were attentive and kind, and overall, it made me think I wanted to visit this area again sooner than later!

The breakfast was available from 7am - 9am which worked for me. The options were simple but fulfilled my needs. The hotel was clean and within easy walking distance to the Dakota Dome. It was quiet, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room is dated but everything worked well and the price was very reasonable.

Excellent location. Friendly staff.
This was my second stay in the same hotel. Although I dislike the offerings for breakfast, the location is excellent: literally next to the Hy-Vee supermarket, and walking distance from Walmart.
