Beautiful views, close to a lot of activities, and very cozy!! A fire pit outside and a potbelly fireplace inside. There are space heaters, if you don't like a warm fire. My first AirBnB and what a great experience!!

The history is AMAZING.

The history is AMAZING. You need to walk the town and see all the incredible history. If you are NOT from high elevation, bring a BOOST oxygen. I am from 7700 ft and it is 9600 ft, so it was not bad for us. Lots of hills, so I felt at home.

the people i deal with were all right and friendly. some of the locals in charge seem to have several issues that make staying here unpleasant. if i wasn't here for a specific reason like work, i doubt that i would visit.

never saw hotel host the two days we were their.

never saw hotel host the two days we were their. Restaurant was closed inside no place to eat breakfast in town. Cripple Creek is closest for food 7 miles away. only two places we found to eat in town one was closed after 6 pm. pizza place across the street is very good was only thing open. If you have beathing problem air is thin 9700 ft. elevation very cool place to walk around lots of old buildings which each have some history. Nevet saw any ghosts

I didn’t care for the flashing green hall light that was...

I didn’t care for the flashing green hall light that was supposed to be a sign of the hotel being haunted. Also being told things were flying off the shelves that morning because of the ghosts was just stupidity. Housekeeping needs to just let the guests enjoy their stay without the made up haunted hype.

Victor was great as was the hotel.

Victor was great as was the hotel. My only complaint is that I was not told in advance that I would be contacted about how to get into the hotel via text. Had it not been for Brandy, (bartender at the Side Door, in the hotel but not affiliated with it) I don’t know how we would have figured it out. It all worked out, we loved Victor. I was there with my brother, our parents grew up there, I was conceived there and we went there to put a plaque for our mother that died last year.It is a wonderful little community, friendly helpful people and lots to see and do. Wish I could live there! We ate a lot at the 1899 right next door, try the homemade green Chile on anything - it’s to die for! Side Door also had great food but closed Mondays. Bakery on 3rd street had delicious pastries. We bought a lot of little trinkets at the Trading Post next to the bakery on 3rd. Cool place, unique mementos. Take the train ride in Cripple Creek, it’s worth it, as is the Lowell Thomas museum in Victor. Had a wonderful time, hope I can visit again!
