It was wonderful having breakfast and coffee. The room and facilities were exceptionally clean and it was wonderful being able to bring my dog.

What Guests Said About Wallowa:

It's a quiet little town.

It's a quiet little town. My brother initially lived in Wallowa when they first moved to that side of the mountains. If you prefer a quiet place to stay rather than the hustle and bustle of Joseph then I'd suggest staying in Wallowa and then driving to Joseph and Wallowa Lake during the day for your activities. Joseph is less than 20 miles away. The view of the surrounding mountains both when driving through the canyon to get to Wallowa and once you're in Wallowa are amazing. The majestic mountains are awe-inspiring.

No restaurants were open after 6 PM on a Sunday evening during height of tourism season. We understand though as it was haying season. We were able to buy food at the local grocery store and microwaved our dinners.

Room was clean, fresh, up to date and welcoming. Towels are better than hotel standard. Felt like staying in a guest house. Very nice, comfortable.

The hotel is nice and fully refurbished. The wooden table, chair, and bed frame create a unique feeling compared to other hotels I stay in.
