I wished I could rate it more than a 10. Anything and everything we needed was there for us. How many places could you go and have a complimentary massage chair for you to use.

The personal are amazing, very friendly and helpful. The cabins are very comfortable and very clean. The restaurant is open until 9:30 pm and the personal was very friendly with us. The location is perfect if you are visiting Yellowstone National Park and very close to Buffalo Bill Canyon if you want to add an extra stop in your trip. The best, they have Jerry, the best cat-manager. We highly recommend it!

Yes, the location is absolutely gorgeous, and we were not familiar with the Shawnee national Forest up until this time. The people working there are so kind and went out of their way to help us, even though we arrived late and had our dinner after they were really closed. The chef, Steph, if we are able to guided us on our visit to the park, as we only had one day. She sent us to the most beautiful locations, and her enthusiasm and background was invaluable! Also, Lodge/ dining room, which is on the property is absolutely gorgeous and the food was very good!

Small town, so much wild life from Wapiti thru east entrance into Yellowstone well worth the drive! If you need anything the YVI were there to assist! 18 miles to Cody and stores / gas station is available. I enjoyed the views, quiet and the YVI!

The area is beautiful and the abundance of wildlife made it so much better. It’s just outside of Cody, so you still have easy access to supplies when needed but is also close to the east entrance of Yellowstone. There’s lots of natural and historic sites that are great to see on your trip.

The owners and staff were so friendly and super accommodating!! The brisket was amazing!! My son loved his elk burger! The cabin was so homey! The views were absolutely stunning!! My only complaint would be that it’s not closer to my home so I could stay more often!!

We absolutely loved everything about the Lodge!

We absolutely loved everything about the Lodge! It was Totally Magnificent! Would recommend to all our Family & Friends! We felt like we were part of the family. We experienced the best top notch hospitality compared to the 4 other nights spent outside each of Yellowstone Gates. Thanks so much for treating us so very kindly on our 40th Wedding Anniversary Trip. We love the owners, The Kyle's are very accommodating!

We loved the little cabin. It had a beautiful view.

We loved the little cabin. It had a beautiful view. We saw wild horses nearby. There was a store nearby for drinks. We had the needed modern conveniences with the outdoors right outside the door. We were centrally located to all our activities including Yellowstone, rafting, food, horseback riding, etc…

Wapiti is just outside of the narrow canyon when exiting Yellowstone. It opens to a gorgeous wide valley with mountains on all sides. It’s quiet and 25 minutes west of Cody. We went in the off season so we found no restaurants or gas stations open. The drive to Cody was a beautiful easy drive by the reservoir and thru three tunnels. So pretty!!!

This place is a gem. We stayed in a cabin, not hotel. It was easy access to main lodge for anything, steps to hot tub, laundry and vending machine. The cabin was clean, large. Bathrooms were good size. Desk and seating. Just a note, cafe is closed, restaurant is open just for dinner (maybe due to shoulder season)

Loved the cozy atmosphere of the rooms. Very conveniently located, 30 minutes drive to the East Entrance of Yellowstone. We also attended a Rodeo on Cody which is the last town before reaching this hotel. The person at the reception was fantastic. She even gave us courtesy snack bags which were much appreciated.

We loved Wapiti Lodge! The location was stunning, with beautiful views over the river and mountains beyond. The staff were all so friendly and the food and drinks were great in the restaurant/bar. If you want a taste of the West, then this is a great place to stay!
