We were there on a festival and carnival night. Vendors in town were friendly, helpful and kind to travelers. What a quaint and historic town. We would come back for another trek to shops, food and farmer's market.

My wife and I are visiting Westminster MD for a long weekend getaway. We had dinner at Johansson’s - Monica was our server and gave excellent service. My wife ordered the Painkiller cocktail and small Caesar salad for appetizer; she noted that the Painkiller was Grade A and no second was needed. I ordered the Side Car cocktail, straight, and it was stiff! I had a second with my meal; compliments to the Bartender. My wife ordered Old Bay Wings (8) and Sausage Pizza as an entree. She was very pleased with both and didn’t finish half (doggy bag). I ordered Tai Wings with Bleu Cheese and a Loaded Toppings Pizza; I too was equally pleased with both! The wings are a large size and the Bleu Cheese was thick and tangy. The pizzas are cooked in a brick oven and the charred crust was done well. We also ordered Apple Pie and Chocolate Fudge Cake to go. We definitely recommend Johansson’s for anyone visiting Westminster MD and they also have a decent bar area. Gentlemen I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that one of the Female Hostesses is 👀 noteworthy…. (wife agrees) My wife and I are visiting Westminster MD for the weekend. We visited Serpent Ridge Vineyard to experience their wine tasting. My wife chose bitter/dry wines. I chose sweet wines; we also enjoyed mini chocolate truffles. My wife’s favorite was the 2022 Malbec. My favorite was the Peach Bellini (frozen). The staff were very courteous and knowledgeable; we enjoyed the outside space and the weather was perfect.

We used to live in Westminster and return to visit relatives and freinds every year. We need a place to stay for several days. We will not return to the Days Inn until it is upgraded, even if we have to stay in another town and commute.

The worst place we every stayed!!! Looked nice on the outside but inside we had roaches everywhere in our bed on the walls !!!! Omg I just couldn’t believe it. When call about the issue they did change our room to a different building but the floors were dirty cat litter animal food an animal hair all over the place!! Then the bed broke on the bed , Checked in Friday left Sunday morning 7 am !!! So disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!

Westminster has its charm. Especially, down by the park, and the court house street. Lovely old homes well manicured. My favorite was having Sunday Brunch at Maggie's restaurant. Arrive early. It gets busy quickly.
