We stayed here for 5 nights and found La Siesta Premium to be the perfect hotel with great customer service. The service from the moment we arrived through our departure was wonderful. The staff were excellent, super helpful and polite. The hotel has a great location, located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City in District 1 and close to the markets, various historical sites, and restaurants. They have a beautiful rooftop bar with city views and their spa is to die for, it was excellent! I highly recommend this hotel!

Great and super comfortable rooms, had the chance to stay in the older part of the hotel where it felt very cosy then the more modern room with the balcony where the only better thing was the new bathroom/shower. Great breakfast, super helpful staff special thanks to Anna and the breakfast crew! Free laundry delivered same day. Small quiet street in the middle of the busy city. Definitely recommending!

This hotel was a great find for me! The location for District 1 is very good. Restaurants, Banks, Viettel, cafes, busses to destinations around Vietnam, etc are nearby. Oh, and if bars are your thing, 10 min walk puts you in as many bars as you like. Cafes: my favorite are Hanoi Egg Coffee and Cong cafe. Both are rated highly in HCMC. Staff is super helpful. Breakfast was good and Fleur is of wonderful help. Bed was superb. Great A/C and WiFi. Very good shower. Spotless clean! Quiet room.

Crowded and extremely traffic congestion not much signage in English the food options were hard to discern what was available and pricing was stressing to understand the exchange rates and costs was concerning taxi's were reasonably priced, it was just a over night visa run from Cambodia

The city has good outlook but has traffic issues, hot and humid weather. You can expect rain any day (forecast of weather is not reliable). Half day tour to Cu Chi tunnel is enough. Mekong (My Tho) is overhyped. One can skip this place to visit. It’s better to hire metered taxi by app instead of direct booking. Some drivers may fleece. Public transport is good and many places can be visited by using public transport. You must be a top bargainer to shop at Ben Thanh Market.

Even though it is a very vibrant city full of history I like Hanoi much more. The city is still very messy and the traffic is still a nightmare for foreigners. It is very commercialized and you need to be cautious to avoid cheating in airport and some shops/spas.

Saigon is the most modern city in Vietnam but it also has a Long french Heritage in buildings, avenues, cafes. War Remnants museum and cu Chi túneles are stuning lessons from the past. Street food and night life is amazing. District 1 has most of the atractions but you should go to Chinatown and Oasis Café.
