It is a new hotel in old quarter . Enjoyed staying at this hotel . It is value for money as the rooms are spacious and clean . The room and reception service is top notch with the staff pretty courteous, polite and helpfull. The breakfast is good. Can be a good choice if one wants to stay in old quarter.

We stayed in a hotel only one night because our schedule was tight, but the room was comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed a quick breakfast before heading out to explore the city. Despite the short stay, the hotel's convenient location made it easy for us to visit nearby attractions and experience the local culture briefly. We hope to return for a longer visit next time.

We had a great stay at the hotel. All the staffs showed up were extremely kind and helpful, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was surprisingly good and offered a lot of options. It was a 12-min walk from the hotel to the old quarter and it's very quiet at night. Highly recommended and will choose again if we come back to Hanoi!

Bustling and busy city.

Bustling and busy city. Easy to walk, which is good news as the traffic is pretty bad, especially during rush hour. I think 3-4 days is enough to see what the city has to offer, any more than that you’ll run out of things to see and Beer Street only has so much appeal before it becomes a tourist trap.

First of all, I love Hanoi. The food was amazing!

First of all, I love Hanoi. The food was amazing! Everything I ate there was just too good, especially Pho and Bahn Mi! I also like how it was so easy to walk around the Old Quarter; for someone who likes walking - like me - Hanoi Old Quarter is just perfect. The people are so warm and friendly

Hanoi is a charming city full of contrasts.

Hanoi is a charming city full of contrasts. It is very safe, and the Vietnamese people are incredibly cordial, respectful, and helpful. It was truly an enriching experience. Hanoi is a city best explored on foot—and at a leisurely pace—while keeping your eyes turned upward; its beauty lies not only at street level but also in the upper stories and the countless rooftop gardens found in the Old Quarter. It is truly a charming city.

Lovely city. Very walkable. Public transport is good too. Energetic with good night life. Very very friendly people. Vendors are helpful without being over bearing. Great food.... check out the local outlets. Relaxed atmosphere and you can spend the whole day just street watching and sipping tea/coffee/beer!

Arrived on the week-end when the central roads around Hoan...

Arrived on the week-end when the central roads around Hoan Kiem Lake are closed to traffic - only pedestrian access so the area turns into a large walking zone. Great time to wonder around without worrying about navigating the cars/motorbikes. Loved this opportunity to explore freely.

Very busy, lots of bikes on sidewalks --- yes, Vietnam is like that everywhere, but Hanoi is the place where this was most common... to have bikes on the sidewalk, riding very close to you without warning... There are some nice places to visit though, and it's a good place as a stop to go visit other places...

This was the perfect place to stay in Hanoi. Location is great and very central in the Old Quarter. The beds are very comfortable and the best we had in Vietnam! For breakfast there is a plenty of Asian and Western choice. The last day you can store your luggage and even take a last shower before going home. But the big plus for this hotel is the whole staff! What makes the stay so special is the very personal approach. You really feel welcome! Thanks to the whole team for that!

From initially booking this hotel we had contacted with Gracy and her team who arranged airport transfers , trips , tours , restaurants and general advise . We had a brilliant stay at Salute. The staff were always friendly, smiley and helped us with everything we needed. It was our first time in Vietnam and they were so informative about all of the places to go, food to try, and even organised fabulous day trips for us.
