We stayed in a hotel only one night because our schedule was tight, but the room was comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. We enjoyed a quick breakfast before heading out to explore the city. Despite the short stay, the hotel's convenient location made it easy for us to visit nearby attractions and experience the local culture briefly. We hope to return for a longer visit next time.

We had a great stay at the hotel. All the staffs showed up were extremely kind and helpful, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was surprisingly good and offered a lot of options. It was a 12-min walk from the hotel to the old quarter and it's very quiet at night. Highly recommended and will choose again if we come back to Hanoi!

I booked a room to celebrate my parents' wedding anniversary, and when they learned that my father is battling cancer, they went above and beyond — offering words of encouragement, a complimentary room upgrade, and emotional support when he needed it most. The room was super spacious with a beautiful view, which made the stay even more comfortable. Thanks to their warmth and care, my dad felt much more at ease, starting his new journey with a more welcoming mind and a positive spirit. We are truly grateful for everything they've done.

"I stayed 12 nights in Vietnam touring many 4 and 5-star hotels, and Silk Path Hotel in Hanoi was by far the best. The hotel is exceptionally clean with very kind and professional staff. They anticipated my needs and provided everything I required, even without asking. They gave thoughtful gifts to my family and offered full support in every way. The food was also excellent. Beautiful & lively city. Vedy good food & coffee. But most of the people are very very rude even in restaurants. Specially the staff at the bun cha dac kim. She was very irritated that we are 6 adults & 2kids but ordered only 5 dishes. We went there to try the food and was not very bery hungry. She was very rudde during our whole stay at the restaurant, she would sigh and make faces when we order more drinks amd she shows that it’s more jobb for her. She straight up said that we are 8people but only ordered 5 dishes. She would grab things aggresivelh from our table & make loud noises and bang the table with drinks when serving. To be honest she ruined our whole vacation as we ate there on our 2nd day of our 10day trip in Vietnam and we were so affected by how rude she was. The traffic is a very big culture shock as there are motorcycles everywhere & it is so scary to cross the road. Cars & motorcycles honks & shouts at people crossing the road.

Was a transit stop for an early morning flight. It was fairly late in the even and we still found places that served good tasty food. The pods were easy to find. I would suggest booking beforehand rather than showing up and hoping there is space.

The staff is kind attentive and responsive. They were super accommodating and helped get me things I needed (an Iron). The facilities (ballroom) and the grounds are a beautiful. And the room was beautiful quiet, incredibly clean, spacious. The bathroom was so big and beautifully designed. I am still daydreaming about the smell of the towel. I felt at such ease and felt such comfort here. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

I didn't stay at this hotel to tour the local town, but only for convenience near the Hanoi international airport, because I had an early morning flight and was concerned about unpredictability of traffic from farther away. I did extensive search to find a place close to airport but inexpensive price and still good quality. The Family Transit Hotel in Thach Loi satisfied everything I was looking for, and was so much more in quality and customer service by the staff there. Personalized shuttle service from hotel staff got me to international departures drop off within about 10 minutes of when I came down to front desk to check out.

Such a beautiful place to visit if you're staying in Hanoi!

Such a beautiful place to visit if you're staying in Hanoi! It’s the perfect slice of nature, just 1.5hours away from from the city. There's a stunning national park where you can have long hikes and many breathtaking, sacred temples—an experience truly worth having. The fresh air, peaceful atmosphere, and warm, welcoming people make it even more special. However, if you're craving Western food, it's hard to find any good restaurant, so be prepared to immerse yourself in Vietnamese food only.

Bustling and busy city.

Bustling and busy city. Easy to walk, which is good news as the traffic is pretty bad, especially during rush hour. I think 3-4 days is enough to see what the city has to offer, any more than that you’ll run out of things to see and Beer Street only has so much appeal before it becomes a tourist trap.

This is one of the best homestays I have had in Vietnam.

This is one of the best homestays I have had in Vietnam. It was so restful and quiet. I had ridden my motorcycle for 250 km's in pouring rain that day, when I arrived they offered to take my rain soaked clothes and dry them so I could be warm when leaving the next morning, then fed me so I could go rest the evening away. They took fabulous care of me after a very trying trip. Thank you Bavi Homestay, much appreciated.

First of all, I love Hanoi. The food was amazing! Everything I ate there was just too good, especially Pho and Bahn Mi! I also like how it was so easy to walk around the Old Quarter; for someone who likes walking - like me - Hanoi Old Quarter is just perfect. The people are so warm and friendly
