Town is small and only supplies the basics.

Town is small and only supplies the basics. Very little paving in town. We felt a little unsafe visiting the Spar. No restaurants or activities for kids. The park is well worth visiting but ideally with a game viewer and guide as it's very hilly and the roads are in a nad state of repair.

it is a beautiful place if you are nature laving person, has beautiful game reserves, visited Tembe Elephant park beautiful, food very reasonable, staff excellent, game drive all beautiful, it has so many beautiful areas beaches such as Kosi Bay and Sodwana Bay which are not far, for relaxation it is beautiful

Hluhluwe is an amazing place to visit.

Hluhluwe is an amazing place to visit. However, from Johannesburg, you have to be mindful of the N2 to Pongola. There are heavy trucks construction and potholes on that road, the drivers drive with so much frustration.

My stay was just right for my budget and family. We enjoyed a self-catering unit which was well equipped. The timing was good as the other holiday makers had not yet arrived making our stay feel exclusive and private.

Breakfast was great.

Breakfast was great. The favorite place that we visited was St Lucia beach. On our way back to the hotel we made a stop over at Sihle's Shisanyama where we had our supper. The place is great. It is easy to get around Hluhluwe hotel.

I will always recommend to have a tour guide when you getting to the wild side because our tour guide was more than the word perfect in terms of understanding the area and animals and the zoo as whole.

Brilliant secluded location yet close enough to be able to drive to Hluhluwe game reserve in around 30 minutes. The 2.5km walk around the property viewing the local buck species was an added bonus. The accommodation in the luxury tent was spotless and the meals cooked at the farm stall were of an incredibly high standard and very reasonably priced! Best fillet steak we’ve had for ages. The staff were great and went a long way to making our stay a very memorable one! Highly recommend.

Ezulwini Game Lodge is peaceful, serene and beautiful. The premises are well maintained and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. We booked the Lodge Room and was upgraded to the one bedroom chalet. We arrived late and left early next morning so didn't spend much time at the Lodge but it had everything we needed for self catering and it was clean. There were lots of wildlife to see close to the accommodation.
