The house is located inside the national park. Be ready to drive via gate - entrance is free. Better arrive before sunset, no lights inside, total darkness 😅 The keys are left in the security office. Easy to take. The host is easy to contact via WhatsApp. The house is very stylish, has well equipped kitchen. Good thing is conditioner in the living room! TV had Netflix ;) Swimming pool is small but great to chill. Be ready that the roads inside Merloth national park are unpaved (except the main road). Sometimes with stones. We had Haval and driving was ok.

Our 6 nights stay at Kudus Crest was one of our best experience ever. The house is beautiful, clean, with multiple details and features that made our stay unforgettable. We loved the 3 spacious bedrooms with comfortable bathrooms, the well equipped kitchen, the pool, the fire places, the pizza oven. Ŵe got daily multiple visits of gentle kudus, zebras, limpalas, warthogs, mangooses, all sort of birds and even girafes and we were so excited to be able to feed them. We enjoyed every other day game drives in Kruger since the Crocodile gate is only 20 mn away, but our days at home were just as wonderful. The house is well equipped with solar PV + Battery bsckup system so we never experienced any power issue. Thank you Pieter for being so reactive and helpful, we can only recommend this house and don't want to go anywhere else when we come back to Marloth. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!.

It was our first time at Marloth park. We were welcomed by a huge giraffe at the gate - though we arrive around 19:00pm The hosts are so patient and Lovely. Big ups They took us for a tour into the villa. Everything is just so perfect. We were complimented champagne - Cherry - snacks and sweets for the little ones aswell. We will definitely come back for more days - we did a mini tour around Marloth park and had an up close experience with the animals. There's so much to do and enjoy. There's also a water park nearby as it is very hot there...!! But we enjoyed every bit of our time there The splash pool is a cherry on top! Highly recommended

This lodge is in a truly exceptional location – right on the banks of the Crocodile River, just minutes from Crocodile Bridge, where we exited Kruger National Park. The views from the terrace are absolutely breathtaking! In the mornings we could watch different antelopes coming to the river to drink – what an unforgettable experience. The cottage itself is full of character and beautifully designed, with every detail thought through. Our room was stunning – the best accommodation we had during our 5-day safari. Super comfortable bed and pillows, soft linen, hot water, quality toiletries – even mosquito spray was provided. Everything was perfect. The service was outstanding. The gentleman who welcomed us, assisted during dinner and breakfast, and bid us farewell was truly remarkable – such politeness, gentleness, and care. He made us feel special and looked after, not just like another guest. The food was delicious, and we highly recommend the optional dinner – every dish was excellent. We only stayed one night, but it was far too short. We are already dreaming of coming back for a longer stay!

The sighting areas were well placed although some of the viewing areas were overgrown restricting views. It is a park area but the same brush restricting views just on the other side of the park fence were removed inside the park boundary. Some of the pathways would need upgrading and made safer/easier to use and access, some crossed deep dongas. Deep gullies on the roads could have concrete pipes laid under the road for safer passage.

Marloth Park is great for bush vibes and having the antelope all around you. I love that the animals visit you and share your snacks and that you are surrounded by the bush. Also super close to the entrance to KNP and has all the amenities you want e.g. supermarket, liquor store, restaurant etc

Marloth Park is a hidden jewel, i had never heard of it before and now i know it exists i will be back. The people are awesome and friendly, the general facilities are good and what you would expect from a small village however the experience is AMAZING. Driving around Marloth Park we came across many animals which surprised me until i looked at the map and realised that Marloth park is the corridor between LionSpruit Park and the Kruger Park. The Location within Marloth Park at the Kruger Private Lodge was stunning. From my balcony I could look across the river into the Kruger Park and watch Elephants playing, Hippos, crocodiles, Impala, Kudu, Bushbuck etc etc. The mornings and evening are spectacular. Looking East downriver we watch the sunrise and that night looking west upriver we watch to sunsets, all from my own balcony. The Lodge is under new ownership and the team are amazing. Their focus on client experience and attention to detail reminds me of the best hotels I’ve stayed in around the world, while the relaxed way they do it and spend time with you is like being at home with the family.

We loved everything about Kruger Private Lodge - the amazing customer service from all the staff, the spectacular river views, the beautiful animals which come to visit, lovely decor and overall great African ambience. The hippos in the Crocodile River pools just below the hotel added to the atmosphere along with the game viewing from our deck overlooking the river - and the stunning sunrises and sunsets.
