The property truly prioritises luxury—every detail, from the décor to the amenities, felt carefully chosen to create a comfortable and upscale experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the furnishings were modern, and everything was beautifully maintained. The neighborhood was extremely safe and quiet, which made it easy to relax and unwind. We visited Mokopane for a friend's wedding, so our trip wasn't really about sightseeing or activities — it was about celebrating, and then taking the opportunity to slow down and recharge before heading back home on the Monday. One thing worth knowing if you're driving up: the roadworks along the way can significantly stretch your travel time. What should be roughly a 3-hour drive turned into close to 5 hours due to traffic caused by the construction, so factor that in when planning your departure time. That said, once we arrived, it was exactly the kind of environment you need after a long drive. Quiet, peaceful, and unhurried. Since the accommodation had basic cooking essentials available, we simply popped into town, grabbed groceries, and cooked for ourselves — which was a lovely, relaxed way to do meals. And the convenience of town being so close by genuinely made everything easier. No long drives for supplies, no stress — just simplicity. We weren't there to explore or fill our itinerary, and honestly, we didn't need to. Sometimes the best trips are the ones where you simply get to breathe, rest, and reset before real life kicks back in. If you're heading to Mokopane for a similar reason — a wedding, a family gathering, or just a slow weekend away — you'll find it suits that pace beautifully.

The owner should consider removing all those concrete bed...

The owner should consider removing all those concrete bed base,they are so uncomfortable and if you lose concentration moving around those small rooms you can easily get injured.The shower and toilets are so small ,it is difficult to move around. I was booked for two nights but slept for only night and had to find alternative accomodation.They also have an entertainment area so on sunday the 27th April 2025,they play loud music as early as 10h00.

Beautiful quite city.

Beautiful quite city. Access to both restaurants, liquor stores and grocery stores. I was attending a wedding. Ate only delicious breakfast at Odelia. It was very easy to get around Mokopane. Unfortunately, we didn't come for excursions.

The staff is amazing and so welcoming.

The staff is amazing and so welcoming. However carrying my own luggage up the stairs as a lady wasn’t pleasant for me because I had quite a lot to carry and kept going up and down the stairs. The food was great! But took almost 45mins because there was a trainee serving me with no assistance, I was patient with him but he kept getting things incorrect. But nonetheless, the hotel is very clean and was easy to find. Loved it.

Please clean the showers properly and, put up sign to advise your guests not to make noise on the corridors - we could not sleep because of guests who arrived at midnight and start to drink on the corridors making it impossible for other guests to sleep. When I complained I was told they can’t control drank people.

Our host was an angel. She greeted us with the warmest smile, was attentive and very polite when spoken to. She allowed for a late check in because of traveling, and she extended our check out time too. Insolam Guesthouse is definitely becoming my home away from home in Mokopane. Loved it!!
