Wow! what a place! If you only do one thing in South Africa make it Sederkloof Lodge. We had the most wonderful time here. The views from the rooms and main house are just incredible, the facilities amazing with every attention to detail and it was just a lovely experience - we were so sad to only have planned one night and we will be back! Thank you to the Bekkers for making their amazing home available to us this weekend! It really was a privilege to be there!

Beautiful room built into the rocks. Loved all the springbucks, other farm animals and dogs, rock pool, hiking trails, etc. We arrived much later than the time we initially indicated and want to thank the lady at reception who was willing to heat some lovely lasagne for 4 weary and hungry travelers. Loved the attention to small details in the rooms. Loved the creativity but rustic flair of everything at the lodge.

The location is quite stunning although the access road is...

The location is quite stunning although the access road is quite difficult. The accommodation was excellent with the individual lodges set along a ridge with fantastic views. We took food for a braaie although the staff can provide pre-cooked food for heating up in the microwave. Breakfast was good and generous. The main lodge had copious facilities and there are several challenging trails in the vicinity. If you enjoy the solitude of the wild environment then this one is for you.
