Just as described. Oceanfront, clean and loved the awesome perks of snacks and nut leis! It really gave us that “island” feel.

Great location, wonderful amenities, and clean. This unit was a 3rd floor apartment with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. Contrary to a few of the reviews, the beach behind the complex you overlook is completely swimmable and great for snorkeling (saw a good number of tropical fish and turtles) and just lounging on. Though it is a narrower beach and you can't walk too far out into the ocean before you hit coral, it is great to launch from for snorkeling or swimming. We actually preferred the beach behind the apartment to Kawela Bay. The bed in the bedroom was uber comfortable (think Sheraton Sleeper mattress) while the mattress in the pull-down pullman was not that bad either (medium thickness laying on top of a solid board so pretty firm). The hosts maintained a playbox on the balcony that contained various sizes of masks and snorkels for all ages, along with buckets, etc., to play with in the sand. The unit also included several (slightly-used but still good) body-boards, all of which were a great and appreciated perk. The full kitchen included everything to prepare meals with, while the complex has an outside grill (newer and clean) to use for gilling (BYO Briquets). The washer and dryer worked great. The bathroom was clean and functional, though a little tight...but guess I'd rather have a smaller bathroom than taking the space from another room. The outside grounds between the building and beach are trimmed and kept beautifully with lounge chairs and tables to sit at. The neighborhood around the complex is more residential, though is only about 10-15 minutes drive to a grocery store as well as a drugstore, in addition to other misc. stores. The Polynesian Cultural Center is not that far away, which can be both good and bad.

We loved how spacious the condo was and you really couldn’t beat the view! Gorgeous sunrise every morning! We enjoyed seeing the turtles from a distance at night and even snorkeled with two during the day! The hosts were also very communicative and all of the instructions were very clear. They were upfront about ongoing construction on the building and we hardly noticed it. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful view, tastefully appointed, very clean, not crowded. Close to Kualoa Ranch and Polynesian Cultural Center.

The location and affordability were great. The property was clean, comfortable, had modern casual beach vibes. Our family of 5 had plenty of room. Nice beach view. The property was safe with nice security guards and lots of families staying in the building. The pool was open. The grounds were clean and had nice spots to relax.

We liked the privacy, the beautiful Turtle Bay property, the location on the North Shore, the surfing competition and the aloha.

This is my 4th annual stay at Turtle Bay Condo's, I stay there due to proximity to my daughter and her children. I love the variety of activities offered via Turtle Bay, and have done them all. I felt compelled to make comments because this Condo was the superior to my previous stays in CLEANLINESS, and most comfortable that I have stayed. The condo #143 East, is equipped with plenty of beach toy's for toddler's, teens, and adults. Kitchen is well stocked with kitchen needs (coffee too!) Washer/Dryer high end, the air conditioners provide strong cool air! The MOST outstanding HONORABLE mention is all previous condo's had issues with extremely small aunts ALL three! Condo #143 East had NONE! In addition, it was quiet a short walking to Lei Lei's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner which I recommend. Also walking distance to beaches, Hotel Shopping, Hotel Restaurants, and Hotel grocery convenience. I MUST also mention the maintenance staff was prompt and respectful to answer my numerous questions, such as "just how does this high end washer work?" Finally, property security was visible and communicative.
