Diego and his mom are the hostess with the mostest! They make sure you have breakfast the night before so when you wake up you have it ready to devour and you can head out for the day fueled up. Diego will answer any questions you have about the glacier, who to book with and where to eat. The location is literally a couple min walk from the bus station and about 1 mile walk to town. It’s so peaceful and quiet here and the cabin has a very homey feel to it. I could’ve stayed there forever!

Great space with plenty of hot water / pressure and a big kitchen. Perfect for families for one night or few nights. Each cabin has 2 private rooms with a common area and one shower. We had a room with a king bed and 3 bunk beds in the next room. Certain cabins (I think 2,3,4) have view of the lake. The site is also very quiet.

The owner was very helpful and meeting at the start was straightforward. The house is a lovely property set in a beautiful garden with a great view. Nice to be able to park off the road right outside the house with a properly closing gate for privacy. Gas-fired central heating was a treat as was the proper coffee machine and washing machine. Very comfortable sitting area and plenty of room to unpack all our belongings and put them away - which is rare but much appreciated.
