Cottages in Abtenau

Perfect location for skiing. Although the weather was unusually warm and there was barely snow in Abtenau, it is only 10-15 minutes by car to the nearest lift in Russbach in the Dachstein area.

Large family style room with separate rooms for the toilet and bathing, which made it very practical for a family group. Very clean place with comfortable beds. Beautiful location in a narrow alpine valley with a lovely town just a 10 minute walk down the hill. Perfect rustic country place for day tours to Salzburg, Hallstatt and Berchtesgaden.

One of the best places i stayed in austria. Location, view, rooms, clealiness are excellent. The family host is amazing and very helpful. The placw is so peaceful and feels so safe

Beautiful space, the host was warm, welcoming, and personal, and the mountain views were incredible, especially at sunrise.

Everything at the property was wonderful! Our daughter loved seeing the cows, rabbits, cats and pony. Our host, Anita, was very informative and helpful. Definitely a must stay location with family!

The location is amazing...very windy and on top of a hill, you could say. You can dine in the restaurant and also buy items from the shop. Really liked the place. A car or taxi would be required to visit the place. Parking is free and the overall ambience of the place in amazing.

Clean, cosy, nice game room (pool table, foozball, air hockey, darts) it was rainy so the game room was good for kids. Carousel ride for the kids. Host gave recommendations in the region. Was helpful.

Great location just outside Abtenau and right next to the Abtenau toboggan and the Kolhof restaurant. Two story small country house fully equipped. Even has sun bathing beds and a grill outside including a parasol. The owner Barbara is charming and is almost always available to help as she lives right next door. Ample parking space.
