Cottages in Bad Aussee

The environment is a perfect, authentic mountain, forest, river, animals - farm feeling! We liked it very much!

The location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.

Andrea and Thomas were warm and welcoming, making sure that I had everything that I need. The apartment looks brand new with a beautiful walk-in shower. Lot's of attention to detail. The location is also great as it's a short walk to the train station or into town.

We loved staying in Hiasn Haus. It was very clean and had all the necessary facilities: fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, heater. There are two bedrooms: one larger and one smaller. The decor is beautiful with is a nice “Alpine” vibe. There is a walking path right behind the house through the village with a gorgeous view of the mountains. There is the same Mountain View from the house windows.

Bergvilla Oberon was an extremely comfortable and lovely-appointed home for our family of five, with exceptional views of the area. I would like to thank them for the extremely comfortable pillows too!
