Cottages in Grundlsee

The location of MONDI in Grundlsee is very convenient - we took a day trip to Hallstatt which was just 30 minutes drive, and another day we drove the panoramic route to Loser Altaussee. The MONDI resort staff were very welcoming and friendly - my husband and I are American and English speaking and the staff was always quick to accommodate with a smile. We enjoyed the spa / wellness area each day during our stay - while the steam bath was out of service, we still were able to use the 3 other saunas and the pool. The food was exceptional as well - from breakfast to dinner, we left satisfied and pleased with each meal. They offer a seasonal venison menu and we loved trying new things we don't normally get to eat! The chalets themselves are so charming - our studio had a mini kitchen, supplied with utensils, dishes, and cookware, and a good size refrigerator. The heated floor in the bathroom was awesome, too! Can't say enough great things about our stay.

A nice house in a beautiful, peaceful location. Very quiet, with great views and pleasant walks right out the door. The kitchen was convenient, though a few more utensils would be helpful. Having a washing machine was wonderful. The sauna was a lovely bonus. The lakes in the region are well worth exploring.

The environment is a perfect, authentic mountain, forest, river, animals - farm feeling! We liked it very much!

The host is very kind. It's newly renovated, everything is clean and works.

It is located in one of the most beautiful areas in Austria, it’s like a fairytale. The house is near a free beach, there are 3 restaurants in walking distance. The house has all the facilities you need for a relaxing holiday. The hosts Martina & Herbert are kind, attentive hosts, they renovated the house themselves with great attention to detail, you can feel the love they put into it. We also appreciated the easy self-check-in, and lots of informative flyers about the area of Grundlsee. We will definately come back again!

We spent three nights at this amazing house, and we fell in love with everything. First of all the hosts are very friendly, kind and very helpful with everything. We never experienced in the past such caring hosts. The house is big, beautiful, clean, and cozy, and exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The location is just amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped and renovated. All in all, we highly recommend it. We will definitely book it again.
