The atmosphere was amazing! Very well equipped and a wonderful breakfast supplied. Was great to be able to walk around the other buildings and we loved the turkeys, ducks and chooks roaming around. Cosy cottage with comfy beds. The fireplace would be brilliant in the colder weather.

Wow. We couldn't believe the lodging we drove up to when we arrived. This is an essentially brand-new single small house in the middle of a LARGE reserve of undeveloped forested land that's only a few miles from downtown Launceston. It features large windows all around which were great because there are no neighbors and you can watch the animals hopping by or birds flying around all evening/night/morning. The bed was uber-comfortable and it had all the appliances (new!) we could have wanted.

Our host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was supplied and refreshed each day and was amazing. The cottage was old and beautifully restored. There was a lovely courtyard for enjoying the afternoon sun and cooking on the BBQ.
