Cottages in Port Huon

View was gorgeous and the spa was enjoyable and clean. The bed was comfortable. Tom, the owner, was delightful and willing to assist us with our questions.

When we arrived, the cottage was warm and inviting. The main room was cosy and warm even though it was quite cold outside. We loved the warm, complimentary home baked loaf of bread that was waiting for us as well as the chocolate bars and the pod coffee machine with complimentary pods. The entire cottage is in immaculate condition and all appliances, cutlery, plates, etc seem like new. The main bedroom is very spacious and the bed is super comfortable. The sofa bed is also really comfortable. The shower is great as well. We really loved staying here and enjoyed the rural outlook as well as watching a kookaburra feeding not far from the cottage in the morning before we left.

Excellent location in a quiet country side setting. With abundant supply and comfortable facilities. It is 5 mins away from the platypus walk and also close to the Tahue Air walk!

Very unique and enjoyable experience! Excellent amenities and charming farm animals with lots of character. We even saw the local platypus!! Kim and Kym were very gracious and attentive hosts.

This is a beautifully furnished home in a gorgeous setting, just minutes from Franklin, the perfect getaway for peace and solitude. It is very comfortable, in its’ elegant furnishings, climate control, and fabulous kitchen (not that it’s needed, the dining options nearby are great). Pete manages the property and lives locally, and is available if needed. Nearby Huonville has good shopping and restaurants, and Franklin offers smaller scale excellent dining. Such a peaceful, pretty part of Tasmania. A wonderful place to unwind.
