The romm was wonderfully decorated and large. It was a in fact a suite of 3 rooms plus a private yard. We also had shared access to the kitchen and dining rooms. The host (Chris) was the host with the most. Caring, entertaining, sweet, very eager to please the guests. The location was a short walk from town centre and the whole region was superbly dotted with wineries and Murray River and lake walks. Fantastic gettaway. Also very pet friendly!

This stunning cottage certainly exceeded all expectations ! The design as well as interior design is flawless. It's so perfectly integrated into the beautiful natural landscape. We ordered dine in meals each night, they were of the highest quality also. Hospitality is second to none and nothing is an issue for the team. Obviously we enjoyed the delicious Lake Moodemere wines with each meal, and the fully stocked wine fridge was helpful for that, although we completed a wine tasting on arrival to purchased on then also. It was a truly lovely touch to find a complimentary bottle in the cottage on arrival. I cant speak highly enough of this well panned and deeply thought out space. I love the location, just far enough out of town for solitude and peace, and yet a hop skip and jump into the region for more tastings, and exploring the finest produce around.

I appreciated the choice of breakfast offered - delicious. The facilities were terrific for me and my dog - so nice to feel that he was safe when he was out in the garden. I enjoyed all the comforts.

Position, Position, Position. Quiet, Quiet, Quiet. Excellent size. Well equipped, Comphy bed. Perfect for playing my guitar on the deck in the evening. 7 minutes drive to the restaurants in Rutherglen. 5 minutes walk to the Moodemere estate cellar door. Not sure it could be better
