Cottages in Kakopetria

I really loved the vibe of this place and the (probably) owner's mother. She was so helpful in solving the problems. To be honest I cannot rate the apartment itself because we did not stay there - because of heavy rain in the previous days it was a bit flooded. But we were offered an alternative - although the room was small, it was very clean and had all we needed for our 1 night stay. Breakfast was simple but delicious, we especially enjoyed home made Cypriot coffee. Old Kakopetria is beautiful, peaceful and I can only recomend it.

The property was very clean, and the location was perfect for what we wanted: a quiet New Year's Day vacation in the mountains and close to several Christmas villages and snow. Additionally, the house was well-stocked with toiletries (although we brought our own) and even snacks/food items. Our host, Marios, went out of his way to welcome us to the property and patiently showed us all the features of the property. He also prepared thoughtful welcome/holiday presents for us.

Very clean, very warm, large house with all necessary equipment. We loved it so much! Near the house is picturesque trail, rope park, town center. Wonderful views from the window!

Fireplaces, tzakuzi, clean and friendly owner

What you find at Archontikon 1817 is a three-dimensional maze of rooms, passages, and staircases that developed over two centuries. From the terrace you see a 12th century church just a couple hundred meters away. The property has several wood-burning fireplaces and the guests are expected to fire up at least some of them. Electric heaters are also available. The hosts provided us with plenty of snacks and a couple bottles of wine. The overall feeling is that of discovery. Amazing!

A warm, cozy place in the center of old Kakopetria, with jacuzzi and traditional bed. Very welcoming hosts, ready to help with anything needed. During Christmas period was an amazing escape. Close to the nature trails of Kakopetria.
