Alpine Cottage was homely and smart and the host Hilary was friendly and easy to talk to. The Property is conveniently situated to all necessary amenities and even though it is on a main road you can't hear much noise at all. There is handy nearby parking and our recent stay was excellant. Would definitely recommend this property.

The house was fantastic, and had everything you could have wanted. Location was quiet and extremely private, but within walking distance to the town. Could not fault one bit. Would highly recommend 😁

The hotel was perfect for our birthday celebration. We were met with welcoming staff, beautiful decor and outstanding provisions in the rooms. Rooms were supplied with excellent tea and coffee, shower and bath toiletries and cosy fittings. We also ate in the dining room in the evening which was excellent. Included in our stay was breakfast where we had fresh fruit, cooked breakfast and all the trimmings!

Breakfast was super and our evening meal superb, James really gave us a lovely meal and was very clever at giving me a gluten free option. The location is very picturesque both myself my daughter Sharon who I was travelling with, would have no hesitation in recommending Mansewood as a place for a longer stay. Sheila Stevenson.

Olive's place is beautiful. The location is so tranquil if you want a quiet place for some time to chill and relax, and the views are absolutely stunning. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and very clean. Lovely touch leaving a small bottle of milk and some banana and choc chip cake on arrival. This is a wee gem of a find and I will definitely be booking again.

We were given a lovely welcome pack by the property owners & a hand written card, which was a nice touch. The property was very clean, comfortable & spacious.
