Quirky old farmhouse which suited our multigenerational needs for a weekend. Perfect grounds to give our dog a walk and throw a ball. Lovely and warm during our stay (it was a cold and wet weekend) and comfy beds. Lots of books to keep our 2.5yr old entertained which was great. Joanne met us on arrival so check in was really easy.

The layout of this cottage was superb - especially for my elderly mother who has mobility challenges. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were luxurious - especially the tubs! The remote charm of this cottage was further enhanced by the whole village, including the friendly proprietor and locals at the nearby pub, plus an excellent mobile coffee wagon we discovered near the common. Perfect for a quiet weekend away in the country.
