It was oke for overall, if you only stay for sleep

Room was good and shower room also. Breakfast was terrific and the whole atmosphere was great. Cool music love the vibes. Amazing view and close to Vik

This was such a lovely stop on our journey and waking up in the country was just so special. We particularly liked that it was remote, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The shower was fabulous. In addition to the microwave and outdoor grill, there was even a little cook top in our kitchen, perfect for our needs.

Friendly host, well decorated and furnished accommodations. Cute chickens and goat visitors. Conveniently located off main hwy. Oh and sauna and hot tub!!

This was my favourite part of the trip. The cozy cottage was so nice to stay in, the location is great and the interior is lovely.

Easily one of the best accommodations we experienced in Iceland. The house is clean, modern, and very spacious, giving plenty of room to relax after a day of sightseeing. It’s perfectly equipped with everything you might need, which made our stay very comfortable. We also enjoyed the lovely views and the peaceful, quiet surroundings — a great place to unwind and recharge. Definitely a top choice, and we would happily stay here again on our next visit.

Birgit and Gunnar were wonderful hosts. Easy to communicate with, very accommodating. Instructions in the house were clear and concise (especially the instructions for the sauna). The house is about a 10 minute drive to Kronan (grocery) and is centrally located (almost) between Reykjavik and Vik. It is about a 30 minute drive to Seljalandsfoss which is near Skogafoss (suggest visiting both in one day since they are close to each other). Its also about an hour away from Reynisfjara and Vik (you wont even notice the time given the sights along the way). In addition to the location, the views from this house are extraordinary. Its a great place for families (allows you to spread out).

Great location, comfortable and amazing views

Everything about this beautiful glass cabin met or exceeded our expectations! Current design, thoughtfully appointed, beautiful location, timely communication w/ host & bonus- the sauna!

This is a charming cabin with gorgeous views and a hot tub! What more can you ask for? They even left a dish of chocolates. We loved it immensely.
