The cottage Amma Jóna is in Ásólfsskáli from year 2023. Cottage is perfect for couple who want to spend time together without being interrupted by others. If you want to use cottage for 2 more people, the beds are available in loft under the roof. Please keep in mind that the access into the loft is by basic stairs-ladder and it doesn’t have to be comfortable for everybody.

We are Czech-Icelandic couple living just next to the cottage, so we can advise you where to hike, eat or travel. We have also two dogs, Týra and Assa. Please, do not take them for a hike with you.

Our cottage stands in the heart of Ásólfsskáli farm so you can feel like living with us. The neighbourhood is cow house, tractor museum, traditional made building for chickens, workshop and art studios. If you love nature do not hesitate to hike around to canyon, mountains or waterfalls accessible by trails. For luxury dinner we can recommend neighboring hotel with the restaurant.
