The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Additionally, Salvo helped us meet with other people that helped us get in touch with our relatives. We felt very welcomed and treated like close family. Highly recommend the property and the host. We would stay here again.

I liked being greeted by the host and having everything about the apartment explained. I liked the openness of the one room apartment. I liked that the host gave us information about great restaurants. I liked the location of this property which was in the historic area and only several blocks from all of the sites and restaurants.

The location and host were lovely! I left something at Villa Sophia and she called me right away. I was as able to set up a time to pick up the items. The host brought us breakfast of homemade treats which were so delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely stunning location and the views from the apartment are unreal. Antonio is the sweetest host ever! He showed me how to use a Moka, gave me a ride to and from the station, carried my luggage, and told me all about the area. I was able to do laundry with no issue and the apartment was really comprehensively (and beautifully) furnished. I could have easily bought some groceries and stayed there for a full week or two and not missed anything. Sulmona isn't super big so I'd highly recommend visiting nearby towns. The buses aren't too hard to figure out but driving may give you some more flexibility with timing. Would recommend learning some Italian since this is a less touristic area. The breakfast is prepackaged pastries/toasts and jelly. There's coffee and tea as well. I had a pretty short stay so it was fine for me since they were pretty yummy. There were pots and pans though, so you could make something else very easily. This place very quickly felt like home!
