Cottages in Hakone

What a beautiful place and in such an amazing location! The rooms are gorgeous. The beds and comforters were so comfy that I horribly overslept (not a bad thing!). It is a very pleasant and short walk from the pirate ship dock. We will definitely book here when we return for another trip to Lake Ashi.

The place is located across bus stops which makes it very convenient. Hakone, overall, has limited access to Uber Didi and Go taxi so when we missed the last trip of the bus, we had to walk from the nearby Lawson which is 600m away from the hotel (but uphill). The place is excellent. We had a good stay. It is as expected and even more - with complete utility items such as laundry soap, dishwashing soap, bath towels, garbage bags, etc. The place even had a hammock or net where you can watch Netflix or YouTube via projector. The place is very relaxing. The indoor onsen was perfect. There are 2 toilets and 2 baths which is perfect for big groups. If you plan to rent a car or bring a car, there's also enough parking outside the villa. There is also a vendo machine of drinks in the compound. The whole process was contactless. Self check in, self check out. Rakuten will send you an email with your villa code (to enter) a day in advance. Very efficient pre registration process prior our stay. Thank you!!!

Much more than expected. Everything’s fantastic.

It’s a very spacious, modern, well maintained property with attention to details. Walking to the train station is super easy. It’s the best accommodation amongst the six places we stayed in on our Japan trip - I highly recommend it.

The Villa is very new, clean and modernized.

super spacious villa within walking distance to Hakone-Yumoto station, we stayed in April and didn't experience any bugs despite certain review so we really enjoyed our stay! The villa was a perfect choice for our 8 month old too, he had a lot of fun crawling around on the tatami mats and we didn't have to worry about him rolling off the bed with the futons which were very comfortable.

Great location to walk to all the shops and the river view . Lots of space

It has its own onsen bath and a kotatsu-like heated carpet on a low table where we had fun chatting while heating our legs.

Location. It was a perfect place to stay in gora. Very convenient. We enjoyed walking from gora station. We definitely want to come back when visiting gora again. The staff was nice too. They put the cover on the couch so my dog can sit on the couch with humans. Great dog friendly place!

Lots of space, clean, great location.

The extra touches were appreciated and thoughtful. From upgrades on soaps, paper goods, a fully appointed kitchen with whole bean coffee and comfortable seating.
