Delicious home cooked breakfast was served. The location was great with mountain views and carpeted roads.

We had an amazing stay Cloudy Hill Cottage. Beautiful views from our room looking over Ella. The breakfast was very good and changed each day. Very friendly host and staff. Highly recommend. You can walk up from Ella town if you fancy some exercise or it’s a very quick and cheap tuktuk drive.

The location overlooking Ella was stunning! The staff, especially Danu were so lovely and could not do enough for you. Breakfast was something different each day and was delicious, our favourite breakfast of the trip

Beautiful location, clean and spacious bungalow and close walk to town but away from the noise. Staff was incredible-very kind, friendly and eager to assist with anything. Breakfast was wonderful with wide variety of foods and very delicious. I can highly recommend Green Cottage Ella and hope to return someday.

A well maintained, clean and hygienic bungalow with ancient looking modern building. The owner cum care taker starting from the time of booking till the departure assures good service. The stay and food are reasonable priced. 3 rooms which can comfortably occupy 12 adults. Child friendly environment. Nice Garden. Very silent location with morning and evening bird chirps. Just 4 kms for Bandarawela town. All in all good place for stay.

Perfect stop during the Pekoe trail. We had an amazing time with Chandra and her husband. The property is big and very well maintained. The villa is big and very clean. The garden is simply amazing with birds and ponds just to chill and relax after a hike. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, the best we had in Sri Lanka. Truly authentic local food with local ingredients. I truly recommend this place.

From the moment you arrive, it’s as if you step into an alternative reality - one that encompasses your entire spirit, soul, and mind. Run by an extremely sweet and caring older couple (who we now consider family), Crystal Bungalow is interesting, entertaining, and simply peaceful to stay at. Outside you are presented with lush and well cared for gardens (with lots of birds). Inside, everywhere you turn there is a new thing to discover (it’s a big like living in a beautiful and interesting museum). You are living on a small tea plantation in a colonial era home. The room was comfortable, bed very nice, water very hot. But perhaps the most meaningful thing is the connections we made to the owners. They care for you and they help you. We’ll be back!
